Silk on buds?

About a month ago, i harvested 8 ounces of bud and put them in jars.

Tonight, i decided to open one of the jar and noticed this weird white stuff all over the buds. It looks like silk or pollen, do you guys have any ideas what this could it?

Are my buds safe to smoke?

I'll try to take a picture if i can find my camera.

Yep, i'm 98% sure it's pollen cause i've spotted a couple seeds here and there.
One of the plant must have been an hermie.

Is it safe to smoke buds with pollen on them? Yes, no ?

If it were botrytis, would it also be white inside the bud?
Cause the white stuff is only on the outside and i can easily remove it with my fingers just like a spider web.

Wow...no es bueno. How wet were the flowers when you jarred them? Mold germinates above 65% and flourishes at 70% humidity and higher. If stems bend without breaking there is still moisture in the stalk...

Those two things look nothing alike, but anyway i'm pretty positive that you got the mold. I know because it happened to me (once)

heat it an eat it . you lungs don't like mold spores ,but after heating any left will be digested no problemo

I've smoked moldy buds before. As long as it doesn't give you a headache just smelling it, you'll live.

Good advice says, throw it away. But, I smoked mine years ago in a pinch. It was fine. I was fine.

I just wouldn't pay anyone for it... knowingly

Yeah, i'm gonna throw them away even tho it looks a lot more like pollen than botrytis.
I can't find my camera's usb cable too so i guess i'll never what it was.

Hey ,

Don't even bother to smoke it you will make yourself sick

Get rid of the weed and clean yourself before visiting your grow as your could move spores off your clothes etc into your grow room infecting the next crop

ask yourself this.....where the hell would the pollen come from? Do you see open sacs an such?

I did some more research and found out it was cobweb mold.
It looks like pollen or spider webs but it's mold.
