Freshly pollinated pistils will start turning brown and looking like they are dying.
Then the whole calyx will begin to swell at the base of the pistil.
You can pinch one open in a week or two to see if seeds are present.

Was doing a lot of testers from seeds we got at last years HTCC, and thought we weeded out all the males. Come to find out 2 in a rock wool tray 2 weeks into bloom slipped through the cracks so I yanked them out and shop vac'd the area around them to pick up the seed pods that fell off. Anyways today was harvest day and and as we were getting into trimming noticed everything in the room had some seeds!!! Anyways lucky i have good trimmers and 2 twisters to get most of the seeds.
Now heres where I am worried there are 4 other rooms that are isolated, but in the same building. How can Identify if these other rooms were pollinated? 2 rooms are 30 days into bloom and 2 other rooms are 7 days into bloom. Please only chime in if you know what you are talking about.

LOL no just didn't want people guessing and needed expert advice..
The first sign i look for when a hermi happens or controlled fertilization is the hairs turn red completely. Not just red in the tips of the hairs like they were touched or hit the wall but completly red from the tip all the way into the bud. I see it within 2 days of fertilization.
thanks MJ passion, i'm in the clear they're just swollen calyxs was freaking out a bit, but now Im all good. The room that did produce seeds could have some good genetics that come out of these seeds though. They look mature, tiger striped seeds. Also if any end up as keepers, the strains would be sour grapefruit X Afghani Bullrider (18% CBD), Sour Grapefruit #8 X Sour Grapefruit #5, Sour Grapefruit X Alien Abduction. Should be interesting.
If you just harvested and the males were at the begininng of that cycle and you have plants 30 and 7 days into bloom the only way i can see them being pollinated is if you didnt clean up the pollen enough.
yeah the females in the room where i found the males about 7-10 days into bloom, ended up having seeds just harvested last week. The other rooms that were 30 days and 7 days into bloom were luckily unaffected because they are isolated from one another luckily. However the seeds I got out of the other room might end up being interesting genetics, too bad it was on accident lol
