I agree, it does suck when this happens. Haven't gotten any mold yet, though. I hate it when the bud is too fresh or the bag is a little light. Also hate it when people are like yeah I can get you some "haze" or some "kush." It's never what they say it is.

Recently my 'stone' budget has taken a hit, I can't afford to buy anything less than well cured meds at the proper price for quality in hand at the time. Not only have I said "No" to a couple of locals I've also told them not to be trying to pass off $50-75 quality weed @ $100 to me. Yup, this pissed them off but fuck it! Either they were going to be disappointed or I was & as it is my money & my choice I opted out of some deals, one guy Tom has now come through with better bags for me while the others have been honest in saying "it's not up to your standards right now" if the bags weren't good to go.

The same goes with actual price, if you say "OK" the first time your connection says "sorry dude, it's $125 per 1/4oz now" you're fvcked! It'll be $125 a 1/4 forever then. Again I said "No" to the price increase with Tom (3 months ago) and he didn't try that shit with me again. Try putting your foot down to poor quality and higher prices, go without that stone for a while, shop around with a price/quality in mind. If you rely upon only one connect you could be in trouble though....... it's time to shut down the greed of weed peddlers.

I'd gotten a few light bags from one dealer, I started breaking out my scale whenever he would sell me a bag & was able to catch the shortage right up front while he was still standing in front of me, after all a gram light @ $100 per 1/4oz. is a $15 hit on my budget.

One night he stops by my place & hands me a sack, before I could even break out my digi-scale he starts telling me "that bag is right on the weight, it's bad karma for you to pull out a scale and check weights on me man." Well that made me suspicious so I said "well we'll check it out anyway." BANG! 1.5 grams light so I bitched him out for even trying that crap with me, then I asked him if he counted the money (he always counted it!) I handed to him each time we dealt together....... with a dumber than shit look on his face he admitted that he did count it, "So you can count my cash & I can't weigh your bags?"

Guess who no longer gets any of my business? the shady dealer.

I dont know...I kind of agree with stoner4life. Just because someone gives you a price doesnt mean you have to accept it. When they really need to get rid of it you'll be surprised at how much the price drops....or you'll get the "well because your my bro deal."

If you didn't like something in Wal-Mart you wouldn't buy it... so why buy weed you are unhappy with? Is there a particular reason in which you need to get high? Under a few circumstances I can understand that (medical being one) but otherwise if you feel like you're getting ripped off just take a break and when good weed comes around again you'll get super high. If you feel bad about turning them down then I wouldn't. A simple "thanks and its nothing against you but I don't think I want to buy that..." should be okay and if its not an acceptable reason for him then find a new dealer.

Wow, talking about them old days in here. Glad I don't have these troubles(I buy seed not weed). But I know where your coming from. I'm with Big Worm "Playing with my money is like playing with my emotions". But I was on their side of the fence at one time so I didn't take them dealer tricks of over-inflated false name prices(100 quarter phhht, keep walking buddy), false advertising(talking about it's the fire come over and it looks like it grew on a plant on the side of the road in mexico), bag shortages(everything got weighed even if it was my best friend, sorry dude it's a cruel world). Point of the story I have turned many a bag away for many of reasons back in my day, ruffling more than a few dealers feathers but shit It's my money right, it is a barter business and if you let em push you around you can bet that they will see just how far you can be pushed. Keep fighting the fight.​
