^^ I second that. Boy you sure know what you are doing bob. All the plants look spectacular. I tried the cinnamon once. I had to toss her because she came with some powdery mildew and spider mites... I didn't have the time to mess with that shit in my mom room, so she got the axe with the quickness. I really wanted to try her, though, Jack Herer is one of my all time favorites. I have had the opportunity to grow out 3 different phenotypes of the Jack and all were distinctly different, but all were killer sativa hybrids. IF you don't mind I will just live vicariously through you with this one lol

do you notice the JH influence in the Cinnamon a lot? Is it obvious it is a sativa pheno of JH or not in your opinion so far?

Hi ,I have some seeds that I got while in Amsterdam and they are called sweet and sour from Coveted Seeds........could these be the same strain that you said was a cross that you made SSB? And for all the people that says Somas NYCD has No Diesel in it read page 77 of his Soma Style book and it list Sour Diesel that he acquired in 1997 and used it in breeding.........hmmmm.............and on page 78 Soma (the shaded block) Soma clearly states that he used the Sour Diesel seeds in a cross with his Afghani-Hawaiian male and the NYCD was born.............so I have to question why people keep saying that there is NO Diesel in NYCD................Peace

Nope you don't have any sweet&sour seeds from me, i never sold them...

As for people claiming there's no diesel in the nyc diesel... you won't find any post of mine where i'm stating this, also nobody has written anything about this in my thread... cause if somebody had claimed that, i would have disagreed I'm quite sure there's diesel in nyc diesel, i had a very fuelish pheno of it (which i didn't like btw) - and have noticed diesel traits in the smell and the growthpattern of nyc diesel offspring...

f.e. look in my thread on nyc diesel here on icmag, i'm even sayin that the nyc diesel.AT pheno (which comes directly from you, Soma, from what i've heard) reminds me of sour D. http://icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=1081871&postcount=1 , but the sour D of which it reminded me of were the samples from amsterdam i've tried... sour D from amnesia coffeeshop and the sd ibl from the rokerij - which were both more sweet than sour...

After growing out the sour D pheno of my strawberry diesel f2s i know what is meant by sour - and nyc diesel is not sour!!!

and also a nice young guy on the counter of a little coffeeshop in amsterdam (the noon) , who was very proud of his diesel :smile: (which was the best grapefruit tasting diesel i ever smoked - better than every nycd i've grown myself ) told me he got a cutting from USA called original diesel which is the diesel from which nyc diesel originated - and that makes way more sense imho... also i've found lot of other growers post they think that your sour diesel bagseed infact was a original diesel bagseed - which undermines my opinion

The only negative things you will find me say about nyc diesel are that the high is mediocre, the strain is unstable and the seeds are way overpriced (you crossed a bagseed with a male you got from shanti and are charging 150 $ for the seeds - )

as for the high of nycd being strong, what about the nyc diesel pheno sold in austarian growshops? it is said to be selected from you, Soma, yourself... it is one of the strongest of the nycds i have had, but still the high is not strong and tollerance is building up rather quick. (i'm just calling it as i see it... and for me the stone of nyc diesel is weak... smoke some of your amnesia haze - that's one of the strongest strains i know - and you'll understand why imho nyc diesel has a weak high... ) here's a pic of that pheno for you:

What you, Soma, are stating in your books... i don't care - i won't buy your book - as i have not bought and will not buy seeds from you... not that i don't like your strains, i love nyc diesel and amnesia haze and soon have a free tibet which i like as well - but i will never pay that much money for unstable seeds that won't germ if i'm not having luck... :wink:

You see, your posting with a nick which is exactly the same like Somas only switched around, Soma called his seedbank amos in the first year, your quoting his books and are saying you got nyc diesel direct from soma, your postings content is advertising for soma products...

I think you understand where my suspecion comes from... but if you're saying you're not soma i'll leave it with that, as i really have other things to deal with...

It's def. jack herer genetics... i would guess it's more sativa leaning, but till i smoked it it's just a guess...

btw both of the 2 cinammon are throwing bananas, the better one even has built a whole pollensac
