Sick seedlings - help!

I have twenty plants of different strains, all around three weeks old. About a week ago some of them started to yellow where new growth was forming, and gradually spread to the rest of the plant. Now they're all starting to yellow - seedlings, clones, and a mature sweet tooth that I've been trying to nurse back to health.

I thought it might be a PH issue, so I checked the PH of my tap water and runoff water with the strip tests. Both had results of around 7. I haven't been able to check the PH of the soil itself yet, and I'm guessing it might be a bit high.

I also thought it might be a fert issue. Before this started happening I transplanted them from straight promix to a promix/fox farm/coco fiber mix. Maybe the new soil was too hot for the seedlings?

And I sprayed them down with Neem Oil about 5 days ago and haven't seen ANY growth since then. It's starting to drive me nuts. I have a few grows under my belt with decent results but never had anything like this happen so early in the grow.

Any experienced growers out there that can help me out? :1help:

btw these pics are a few days old, it's been slowly getting worse since then.

Not sure what strength neem you used but I wouldn't be surprised if the need burnt your plants. Get some more opinions however, peace.

FFOF is fine for seedlings unless you have sativa strains or nute sensitive strains, and FF / pro mix / coco is very light no nutes then

I would feed them ,they look super light green to me

never cut a leaf, let it use up the nutrient in the system instead of cutting it off, it looks bad but it will be worse if you cut it off

you might have an old then that offgasses and kills plants, have you used the tent before ok?

Here are some recent pictures from today.

The yellowing is definitely worse.

The tent is my roommate's, and he's used it once before for vegging a plant that ended up being male. The tent is only temporary anyways while I set up a dedicated grow room.

And yea, the clones could probably use some nutes by now. I took them about a week and a half ago, so they're well rooted by now.

The seedlings though, I first thought they could go without nutes for another week and use up what's in the fox farm. I'm a bit scared to give them nutes because they're all still very small - most of them barely have two sets of leaves.

I've halfway convinced myself it's a PH issue and the PH of the soil is high. I might try giving ph down to one or two of them and see if that helps.

It's not from too high a PH, my soil is at least that high. Those are very small plants in very big pots. Unless you're very skilled at guessing where the roots are, you'll have problems watering such a big container. Continuous moisture below the roots doesn't give them enough incentive to grow down in search of more water/nutrients. In such big containers, they need to be allowed to dry out some between waterings.

you are def not feeding them enough. They look N deficient, and the beginnings of a mag def.

I dont care what anyone sais, get your ph down to 6.5, and find out the ph of your soil is.

See, this is exacly why i went hydro, crap like this. you dont know whats going on under the soil sometimes and its a pain in the butt.

They can be potted down into decent sized 20oz cups (ok, some could be in quarts) with a good draining mix and they'll take off.

It looks like you have a mix between not feeding them and burning them with neem. Have you rinsed it off since applying it?

Hydro has it's OWN set of problems! Believe me... I went back to soil...

You're a better man than I if you have the time and patience for hydro.

He's got a LOT of shit going on with those plants... I'd get some new soil, GREAT soil...transplant them without watering for a while...and hope they recover... Maybe dip them in a fert solution as I was transplanting them...a foliar feeding...but then nothing until the roots are growing well into the new soil.

Hey 2fast4u... I bet if he dropped them seedlings into a mesh pot and did a little DWC to 'em...they'd take off! That shits AMAZING for young plants. The problem is keeping it all clean and running for several months. That's where I failed. I didn't have the conditions for it. I couldn't keep the water cool...

I agree with 2fast4u. first off it looks like Mg def and combined with overall deficiencies. I'd look at PH first....it can cause many of deficiencies when the nutes are actually abundant in the soil.
