sick plant in bio buckets, help plze

Hey guys/girls
I got a problem with 1 of my plants & i could really do with some outside diagnosis.
First off they are all BD x bubblious clones 3 weeks old today. They are in a biobucket system being fed dutchmaster nutes. the PPM is at 1030 & PH is 5.8, water temp 23c. Room peak temp 33c, 'night time' temps drop to round 19c. They are growing under 4 x 600W HPS mounted in cooltubes fitted into adjusta shades. Each bucket has its own air stones as well as a water fall effect into the res that is supposed to supply all the needed air without the extra air stones but i just can't bring myself to trust the waterfall effect on its own. lol.
The root system on the sick lookin plant looks healthy, its nice n white, no brown or disclour & is only slightly less advanced than the others. The first 2 pics are of a couple of healthy plants. the last 2 are of the sick 1. I'm sure u can see how much stunted it is compared to the others as well as the really droopy leaves. Its been this way for the last week & a bit, just seemed to stall for no reason i can find. They were rooted in small rockwool cubes, at first i thought that maybe the cubes were sitting too close to the water & so were too wet - they did feel pretty damn wet, all of them tho. So i raised all the net post by about 1.5cm about 5 days ago with no effect. They are all in the same system & in the same medium - lava rocks.
Today i am supposed to increase the PPM level to round 1400 (DM nute recomendations) but i'm holding off for now till i get this plant sorted.

I'm sure someone is gonna suggest lack of air - that was my thought too so i turned the air pump off for 48 hrs to see if i could make it worse but to no effect at all. the pump is back on now.
A little bit more info. The sick plant is VERY wobbly in the net pot. I was thinking it might be stem rot from the rockwool being too wet. As i mentioned before i had raised all the net pots by the height of some 13mm polly pipe. I just replaced the polly on the sick plant with some of my 32mm drain hose so now its much higher out of the water. I've also removed all the RW i can get to without disturbing the lava rocks too much, prob at least half of the cube - the top half that is.

Nice setup Rat!

Dont ya love it when ya almost solve your own problem just by posting about it...hehe. Your ladies look exactly like mine do when they are dampening off, or getting too wet.

In a setup like you have, once the roots grow out of the net pot, the rockwool should be DRY...totally dry. If it's even damp that's bad. The main stem is going to grow through the rockwool, so that means it has a band of soggy RW surrounding it all the time... not good at all.

If you moved up your pots that's good... now just make SURE the rockwool is not getting wet at all. Sometimes, I just move some of the hydroton and slowly tear the RW right outta there.

Your ladies will take a week or two to recover... again, just make sure that rockwool is dry dry dry....

heh, you're so right klutter.
Heres a cpl of pics of the sick girl just 24hrs after i raised the net pot. she is already showing signs of improving. In the 2nd pic u can see how i raised the pot. This means a trip into town today to buy some black spigot hose, enough to do all 9 plants.
Thanks for your input klutter.

Hey magoo,
Nope its not gnats. It was defenately the wet rockwool. i've raised the lot with the spigot hose & they are lookin exellent. The sick 1 has really picked up, no more drooping leaves, she is standing tall n proud & growing again.
