Sick Mothrr in Veg

Plant was doing great but had a phosphorus defficiency. Was stunted, stems and veins purple, edges burnt black/ brown. So I started using cgaching with good results(purple went away and growth increseaed); 1 week later most all leaves cupped/rolled/ taco up, became paper thin.

Blueberry F2
Flushed foxfarm soil in airpot
Ro di water
Co2 1100ppm
Botanicare PBPB PBPG CALMAG KARMA HYDROGUARD SILICA BLAST
H&G Amino Treatment
3 spectrum king 400+ for 3 plants

So I turned the co2 off and reduced from 85*F to 72*f and raised my middle light another 10", let the pots dry up a bit; yielded no improvements. Must be nutrient deficiency?

Root bound?
Moms don't need much.
All mine get are3ml/half gallon of Botanicare Tea (the grow/veg tea) and 10ml/half gallon of seaweed I pick up from the local nursery for 20.00 a gallon. Some get calmag and some don't need it.
I take the plants out of the pot every 2 months, cut and inch off the sides and bottom then repot with fresh foxfarm ocean forest.

You very well may be right Resinryder! I recently transplanted my other plant, #1 into cococoir, ffom a 2 into 5gal pot. It too seems to have the dry leaf tacoing; may be unrelated?

Just checked and the two soil plants have the purple stems coming back... Which was not as bad this morning when I watered.

I'll transplant tomorrow into cococoir 5gal and see if that helps. Im trying to get atleast 50 clones total all at once. Might be pushing my luck.

Why would you give your mom Silica Blast. Silica strengthens cell walls. Makes them, what I call woody. You don't want your cuttings any harder to root due to tougher stems.

I grew these bushy as can be. The main stems are woody. Everything in between was soft.

I transplanted to a 5gal. Rootball wasn't very big. Within 4 hrs the plants picked up. I kept one in veg and two in flower. I was tempted to move them outdoors and wait for my Liberty Haze to grow from seeds.

looks like broad mite damage

Exactly what I was thinking I know first hand

Those are screaming broad mite damage for sure. I would be willing to wager 1,000$ on it! I'm sorry this is happening too you I'm going through it right now also. It's the most frustrating situation you could ever be in....

You ever use neem oil in your reservoir? I had broad mites early in beg but thought I got rid of them. I wonder if I can put sulphur soap bits into my foliar spray. Not too certain of sulphur toxicity looks like.

I have dynagrow and mill mix that with Dr Bronners Eucalyptus Peppermint soap.

There's a couple different threads going on here that I believe are all broad related! I just fired up another broad mite thread, I'm not sure how many responses it will get but I'm trying to figure out different approaches to tackle these bastards. From my personal experience broads will gargle with neem and ask you for a light "Joker" lol I know it's not funny.... Anyways the information about these pests is very limited on the internet I know because I've been googling the subject to death for the last couple of years. Here's what we know at this point.
1.Super toxic miticides are an option
2.Organic approach like Tessarecting has pointed out (using sulphur and predators)
3.Heat treating plants and environment (some have had success some have not) leads me to believe it has to do with temp/ time not being correct.
4.Predator mite species slow release and rapid release.
5. Bleach is your friend can't bleach enough surfaces and equipment.
(Note be careful using strong dilutions of bleach in and around areas with plants the chlorine gas/vapor of strong bleach is plenty enough to kill your crop).

So I'm on a mission to figure out new strategies to dealing with these things, there has to be something that has been over looked, or not discovered yet I truly believe any pest is easy to get rid of once you find the solution good luck and I'm pulling for ya!

Also some claim diatomaceous earth is something that works on them, I'm not using it on the plants themselves but have been placing it around the plants like barriers. There is also a product called tanglefoot, which is a sticky goop like pine tar. I also made bands with tanglefoot on them and attached around the pot bases its messy but my thought is to catch/keep them from migrating on foot lol
