Sick HASH plant girls

heres the story. got clones from friend's hash plant. at 2 weeks i brough them home, put them under 150 hps. they were looking great. 2 days ago i added another 150 for a total of 300W. they were pointing straight up yesterday. today i had the room closed while i was at work and when i came home my heart dropped. they were both shriveled and weak as shit. are my babies done? the little one looks a little bit better than the big one. the plants were about 1 foot from lights. i took them out and removed the other 150. right now i have no idea what to do. should i put them back under light? right now they are not directly under it, but around it. the top of the smaller plant is opening up and looking in the direction of the light, but the bottom leaves are falling.

by the way, they are 3 weeks old now.
help please??

run the original light you were you using for the mean time, make sure they have some water (but dont over water if already gave it some) and just wait it out and see what they do. Dont do anything drastic til you got it diagnoised (ie fertilize, add more lights, move, etc). most plants are tough and will make a comeback.

Did they have adequate roots before you planted?

just move your lights back man thats way too close, they would even be fine if you put the light to the cieling. are your lights air cooled?

The lights are warm. If the pots are too wet, the plant can not keep itself cool. Soggy soil = reduced water flow from the roots to the leaves that are transpiring ("sweating") to keep cool.

That's what I'm wondering too
I had this also happened once, I put them too soon under the HPS light and without a good root system they don't like that!

yeah switch em to flouros for a bit, Im assuming they were rooted if they were at your friends for 2 weeks, but If not then just keep the soil extremely moist and give the plants some type of humidity dome

they're not lookin good guys. had them by the 150 for the night. seem to be drooping more. the smaller one looks alive on the top only.

sorry about the delay, here's the update.
the larger clone's leaves all died. curled up and dried out. i snipped them off, and threw it back under the light just for kicks. i'm sure nothing will come of this, but whatever.
the smaller one that seemed to have some life left is also not doing well. this one could still work out though. theres something definitley wrong. the leaves are curling, skinny, and turning light brown. there are some brown spots on them as well, but its not drooping. i guess it is growing, but veeery slowly.
so what is going on with this one?
anyone have any clue?

also, i just put them under 30W flouros, and put a hot steam humidifier in room. good or bad idea??

Where'd you get that soil, from the back yard? Doesnt look like theres much perlite or airation in the mix there. My best guess is they have been planted in a bad mix and have some serious ph issues.
