I don't think you need to use azamex and bacillus thuringiensis (bt) so often. Take a break from it.

When you spray pesticides of any kind. Don't just spray your plants.

I actually spray more around the plants like a perimeter to let the bugs know this is not a friendly place for them :tiphat:

It looks like damage from something foliar applied. You are spraying to much. All those liquid feedings aren't helping. Why don't u just throw some dry organic fertalizer on it and be done with it.
U shouldn't be pumping that garbage into your soil. It can build up and then on a hot day fry your plants. Go organic. You will save some money and get better results. Some of those plants look pale. Don't buy into the hydro store sales pitch.
Look around at the outdoor growers that are crushing it on here. None of them are using hydro ferts. They are amending their soil and just using water or they are top dressing.

You aren't going to get rid of leef hoppers by spraying bt.

To me I thought initially caterpillars. Not the bud kind, but the kind that “glue” to top leaves together while the egg hatches into a caterpillar. After a while to leaves do separate and open, but look all mangled like that....

If planting in soil where grass grows throw out some all purpose fertilizer in spring. IO use a chicken shit blend for golf courses 40lb 5-3-2 I through handfuls all around about 3-4 quart cups. This year I got 5lb bags of Dr Earths 5-5-5 for $1.50 a bag. I spread out 1/2 bag in May. Some plants are over 8ft tall now. I used to through handfuls around all the time. Nitrogen just makes them grow more not produce more buds. A lot of my plants started flowering in July. As far as bugs go I spray BT in early July to kill the little caterpillars. Forget leaf hoppers, mites, white flies. Keep an eye on aphids if they get bad the leaves will curl around them and then its a problem. I just turn a heavy spray from a hose to keep the under control. I let mother nature balance the bugs. I worry about grass hoppers later in the season when everything else is dead. my harvest depends on the weather in October. Farming is a risky business just like life but it always ends in death.

that looks like russet mite damage

I was gonna say russets or broads. Your pics look almost identical to pcis used to show what plants with those pests look like. Google "broad mite" and "russet mite" and click the image tab for the results. You'll see what I mean.
