I was raising these males for my buddy Dezylu's breeding project. They are Blackberry Widows ( JoJo's). These were some real studs.

heres a male i had about a year or two ago. he was the only plant i had going inside at the time and it stunk badly from 3 inches and on. when it was at a foot the whole place smelled like it. used in a few crosses, oh yea it came from some killer stuff from southern mexico. sorry for the bad pic this was after i used him up and threw it outside.

anyone got thai males? :joint:

well, here's an interesting issue. Last year, I had this mazar male, sitting for some months on my windowsill. Didn't care too much for it, tho it gave me some good pollen. So it was about six months old when I chopped it.

The pic just before the chopping:

Just before I put it in waste basket, I noticed that the male HERMIED. Not many seeds, just a couple on a branch or two, but still a very interesting ocurrance. I have never before seen this:

What do you think?

Great shots everyone. Verite, your shot of the full bloom NYCD is amazing, you can see the pollen piled up on the leaves.

Kov-That male got pretty big for being in such a small pot. That must be nice having casual houseplants like that around.

Here's a the North #1 boys.

yup, didn't bother to repot, when the plant stands on a typical windowsill it can easily manage with that kind of pot, with hardly any nutes. Only us barbarians, while putting them under a maximum light conditions in our high-tech boxes, are forced to maximise all the other parts of the equation.

As to casuality, yes in my country I'm still able to have this little fun. It's nice to have a house-plant in your bedroom. Wake up in the morning..... go to sleep at night.

Here is my SOL Sweet Tooth#4 stud from seed. Nice fat hollow stem and good structure. The branches grow more to the sides than straight up.

He was used to pollinate the following females:
Silver Haze (Sensi)
Sweet Tooth#4 (SOL)
Chronic (Serious)
Cinderella99 F2 (clone from Farmer John's Photo of the Year plant)

All females except the ST#4 are tested and proven clones from the IC Fin crew. I also collected some pollen and put it in the freezer. If it stays viable I will pollinate some Mr. Nice Medicine Man on my next run.
