i am contemplating moving my girl to a sunnier spot. its 4 - 5 weeks into flower. wondering if she would be able to handle being transplanted to a more sunny spot. its not very big so i am pretty sure i can get the entire root ball to move with her.

Thoughts?
Suggestions?

If you think that you can get the entire root ball, then perhaps. It depends on just how much sunnier we're talking. I personally wouldn't, unless the original spot was in shade for most of the day.

shes in quite a bit of shade now. only maybe a few hours of direct sunlight a day. i can move to something closer to 8 hours pretty easily. its small because of all the shade. just want to try and maximize now.

I planted some girls outside this year in really poor locations and when I asked a few people about transplanting them while flowering, they told me absolutely not and that everything has to be in the right container before flower. plus if they're planted in the earth like yours and mine are, the cannabis roots naturally grow straight down and will only start to circle when they can't grow down anymore so the root system is extensive. I could be wrong as I didn't really look into their opinions and explanations but it sounded plausible.

I'm just planning on doing it in a different location next year and scrapping them because it's raining now and they have no cover and are not even close to being finished with no sugar leaves forming yet. I guess if you're not too worried about losing them, then go ahead and try it. I'm curious how the roots grow in the earth compared to the containers for next year.
