Should I be using nutes?

switched to flowering and transplanted to 3 gal pot with ffof with perlite on 7/14. Gave it a heavy watering and havent watered since. So its getting time to water and i have ro water a 1/4 tsp tiger bloom mix. Since its in new soil with new nutrients should i hold off on the tiger bloom for 3-4 wks? I know to wait in veg but this is flower.

When I grow in FFOF soil, I take into account that their is enough food in the soil to get through at least a couple of weeks. So I just add water. After the food is used up I treat the FFOF soil kind of like it was soiless and add add my nutrients. From the point that I add nutrients, I wait at least 2 waterings before I add more nutrients again. I also keep my nutrients on the low side never exceeding 1000 PPM (500 scale).

I usually transplant at least 2 weeks before flowering to grow the roots out fully into the new pot before I put them in flowering. Regardless though, when I test FFOF right out of the bag, I usually get a run off reading of 1800 PPM (500 scale) without adding any nutrients. FFOF is very expensive because it already contains all of the nutrients that you need; even for flowering plants. If your pots were a lot bigger, you would never have to add anything except for water.

Hey, as long as you are growing that's all that matters. You can always bend the branches if you need to if they get too close to the light. Have a good grow.

Yea i have it lst'd the main branch is literally at 90 degrees lol. Now the lower new growth has stretched tall since after transplanting. Its ok to lst in flowering right?

9 times out of 10 it's ok but some times you get a very sensitive strain that can throw male flowers from the added stress. I wouldn't worry about it. Just be gentle.
