Should I be trimming this plant?

My opinions ...
How you manicure the plant is determined by what you would like to accomplish. Manicuring those plants for SoG would get entirely different answer than manicuring those plants for ScroG.
Two correct reasons to trim a plant are to: discourage growth at the site of the trimming, or encourage other parts of the plant to grow faster or with more variety. For those plants, I would look at topping if ScroG, else leave them be. I don't trim the bottom leaves at that height because I want to discourage additional low growth.

i would cut all those bottom branches off and clone them.its better to have airflow then popcorn nugs growin on branches right next to the soil.
