gotta leave on short notice 4 days (about 3 and 3/4)
no time to order blumats and set them up but i read they are the best
16 plants in veg (about 7 weeks from seed).
i plan to water really hard b4 i leave.
all have saucers at the bottom but i was gonna buy oversized saucers and fill extra water in each. But im concerned this could cause root rot or mold. I usually water ever 2-3 days.
does this sound ok for a one time thing. They will be newly transplanted a few days b4 into 3 and 5 gallon pots so i figure the soil(ffof) will hold a little extra moisture.
does my plan sound ok.
no time to order blumats and set up
i have a submersible pump but thats it and i really dont want to spendf that much time setting up.

Bro if you're in soil just water the hell out of them right before you leave, they will be ok for less than a week. They might be a little droopy when you get back but they will still be alive for sure. If you are dead set on setting up some kind of watering system though you can run string from some kind of rez into the pots and they will wick up the moisture that way. It's not the best, but for less than a week away trip it is more than enough. Just make sure you set the rez up higher than the pots and you will be all good

Ok and I see you said you are just at the transplant phase, you are golden, they will not have huge root systems yet so if you water them heavily before you leave I can almost guarantee the pots will still be wet when you get back from your trip. When I transplant I can usually go about 7 whole days before I need to water again because they are so small and most of the container is filled up with soil and not roots yet. You are fine
