Starting a thread about one of the few non-feminised autoflower lines i know about. Great little plants, the description is fairly accurate, however i have not ever been able to make them finish in the time mentioned by the breeder(45 days from seed to harvest, that would be spectacular indeed eh
) it is probably more of a me problem than anything else as a novice. The effects are very spacey, intense and long lasting. Phenos ranging from "tight buds" to exaggerated foxtails, but again, more down to the fact the airflowe was uneven in the growing area rather than the plant itself. They were also grown mostly at 12/12 to acommodate the photoperiod needs of others. Sub-optimal for autos but turned out fine...
Took about three months from seed to chop.
the high is nice, you think " Is this it" when you vape it, then some time later your heart is pounding and your vision becomes spacey, a tiny bit like the precursor to a mushroom experience, but not as intense, a fiery burning background feeling in the abdomen, its subtle but very plesant, consecutive vapes and its quite intense...
The growing media was almost pure sand. Only a tiny amount of soil was added. I actually quite like growing in a nutrient sparse medium, and sand makes roots go crazy i have found, unlike some results using a heavier more water retentive organic medium, i just add what the plant needs as it grows, something that i am still not a pro at, i use a balanced equal npk for veg, boosted P tomato fertiliser in flower, and high PK at the end. I tried feeding the plants with pure water very early on, when all the pistils where still white, the result is quite a clean product, (that could have been stronger) the buds themselves smell subtle, but when the resin is disturbed, aromas fill the air. Growing in this way cut down on the smell alot, whilst still growing high quality resin
The main reason for the sand is its an experiment, i like using mediums with sand, it has excellent moisture wicking properties, making the medium evenly distribute excess moisture instead of it pooling like in heavily organic mediums, the sand also holds no more moisture than its capacity, it cannot be encouraged to hold excess water and become anoxic as easily as organic mediums, which can become "waterlogged" and cause a multitude of problems. Sand lacks cation exchange, which is why i added a small amount of coir. I recommend using pure sand for cuttings and seedlings, the results will shock you...
The added benefit if using a 95%inorganic medium like sand is you never see pests living in your growing medium. Using pure perlite or other things is possible too, but lack the fantastic properties of sand! Many of which i havent even mentioned
