Short/Compact Sativas

Hi,

I am trying to put together a list of sativa-dominant strains that have a compact growth habit and/or that do not stretch so much. Any advice is welcome.

Thanks!

Those are two, but so many more, depends on your desired terpene profile and desired effect.

Burmese is the stockiest Sativa I know.

And as Mr D said, flower small clones. Also, tie those suckers down as Dropped Cat suggested, they grow sideways just fine.

This plant would have been over 7 feet tall, but it was tied down. Start with small clones and LST them to meet you height requirements. You can grow any strain you want using these methods.

Maybe Jack Herer? It’s not really compact, but doesn’t stretch too crazily either

A bit of double dipping on the pick with C99 mentioned earlier

Would you count Skunk #1 as sativa enough?

the pineapple express I grew ended up more of a short bush than the gg4, they were topped a bunch and overvegged by 1-2 weeks

These GCS durban poison I'm growing are getting me kinda excited. Had em vegging at like 35w/sqft 24/0 for about 5 weeks before flipping them to 12/12 and they only grew maybe 12-14 inches tall at most. I've seen indicas get taller than that before with only a month of veg so I'm pretty sure these are gonna be super compact for a landrace style sativa. Prolly only be 4ish feet tall by harvest time at their current grow rate.
