Short bushy bloomers...

Fast Pine

Active member

This is one of my "fast pine" plants...They went outside may20, and are only around 14-18 inches tall....Very bushy though....They started showing signs of flowering about a week after I put em outside..
They are 50/50 indica, sativa....Bred in canada...
I have 2 more months left until frost hits....

Can you guys help me estimate how tall they will finish at...Maby a possible yield estimate....

Thanks , any input or guess will be appreciated....:joint:

That's pretty neat. I would decrease my nitrogen some to allow more flowering with only 2 months left. I can, in my mind, imagine you running out to snatch a bud and microwave it dry before they are truly done. Enjoy. :abduct:

What you are requesting... is impossible to determine without prior knowledge of the genetics... your growing condtions... and your growing skills.

Is this a strain you created?

I wish you and your garden the best!

Well...like I said..its 50/50 indica/sativa...early flowering, bred in Canada..Nothing too outta the box genetics wise...Its not my creation..I figured they would vegg some, when I moved em outside..But they started flowering immediately.....A fiew other outdoor guys/gals on this site have short bushy bloomers in their grow diaries..So im guessing its not that uncommon...

As far as conditions...Im at 8000 feet above tha sea...36Degrees N...In the high dessert forrest...Southwest USA. They get Fox Farms Nutrients, and all the water they can drink..An more than 6 hours of good sun...Expected frost Sept 22...Deep holes with organic soil...

As far as my growing skills....Well...Ive been gardening for 20+ years..

Im just looking for a rough idea of how tall yall think there gonna get,,,Considering there already flowering..I have my own Ideas on height and yield...I figure any experienced grower should have no problem with estimating height an approx yield....Especially with tha picture I provided.

So, come on!....Someone break the ice, with a estimate..

5 grams. That thing looks horrible, 1 and 3 fingered leaves everywhere, flimsy buds, looks like it has been flowering for a short while, then reverted back into veg and then started flowering again. And you're asking how big it will get? It's well into flowering now. That means it won't grow much higher, couple cm's maybe.

Danm.....Thats some blunt shit...Dont ya think ya couldda been a lil nicer...

Ya think imma yield 5 measley grams....Idonno...I think The future isnt as bleek as you forecast it to be..

Theres nothing wrong with 1, an 3 fingered leaves....And ya cant expect too much bud this early in tha season....I really dont see what makes my plants look horible ...

Peep these then...

LoL, i gotta good laugh from that one. Hopefully Blowmonkey was being sarcastic. Your plants dont look that bad, although i know nothing of outdoor grows. Im still laughing at the horrible 5 gram comment. I doubt the future is that bleek as well, but it is hard to gauge how much youll yeild this early in the game. Look like theres plenty of tops, especially on the 2nd photo. Ill guess 25g's dried per plant. Good luck to you man.

Hell yeah!...Thanx hydro man  ....Tha second flick is of a compleetly diffrent strain. There are 3 plants in that picture....Im not too worried about tha height, an yield of these....They look pretty normal to me...But tha fast pine is acting really weird..Thats why im asking about yield....Its got me worried, cause I hoped for more...

Thanks again for yer estimate... :joint:

Hey FastPine,
I see your ladies made it thru the hail storms. I also dont see anything wrong with them. They look green and lush to me. And I also agree on the height. If it is well into flowering it wont go "up" much more. Yield? I'm not that good.

PS- how was the trip?

SS, hows it hangin mang?

Im glad you stopped by...yeah...They actualy got hit once more by a light dusting of hail...but nothing got too hurt...

Tha trip was great...I just got my first dirt bike...It was fun to ride tha MTN trails...(far from my grow of course)...I didnt get to protect my babies from any hail though.. :chin: ..I guess thats a good thing..

Man....These fast pine were supposed to "go tha distance" for me this year...I am really dissappointed...I had dreams of some eye level plants.. :badday: ...I did a stupid amount of research to find genetics that would finish Mid Sept, an this is what I get!!?..Tha breeder had pictures of fast pine plants, that were 7-8 feet tall!...I cant immagine why they all did this, short ass, early blooming shit.....

Actually, there is. It usually means the plant has reverted back into the vegetative stage and thus is suffering from hormone problems, which always results in a severly lessened flowering stage. I speak from experience as I had 2 plants last year which were only good for hash material, bud development was extremely poor, took them 11 weeks to produce flimsy buds noone would like to smoke, if you could call those few calyxes stacked on top of each other buds.

From the pic I can see, this plant doesn't look alright, might be harsh, but I'm just not gonna lie. Maybe if you put something in the picture for comparisons sake, I can't really get a grasp of the height of that plant, no perspective, likewise with the buds, take a close up and people might be able to tell you more.

well if you just have two months left before bad weather sets in i hope thos babies get to flowerin. If they do good and spend the next 60 or so days flowering hard you could get a quarter pound per plant. That is just a guess and alot of speculation that the next 60 days or so will do good. Sounds like you are just looking for speculation though because i dont see how anyone could do anymore then that with the info given :)Hope your grow goes well and you harvest more then you thought.

Its been a minute...They have put on some weight..

There are 2 in this picture..one behind it.

The main plant in focus is about 2 an a half feet tall..

Any more estimates? :chin:

See, they are really filling out nicely. It is really hard to estimate because some buds looks huge but then they dry out to something very small and other buds are small to begin with but don't lose much weight when they dry. Anyway, I'd give a wild guess of between 2 and 4 ounces on those plants. Who knows, maybe even more or maybe even less.

Good job with those fast pine,

Greens
