I've heard devils harvest and their s1 are a joke, and not worthy of the name shoreline. They're like a small time version of Green House Seed Co. But that's just a tidbit I read on here I don't pay money for s1's, so I wouldn't know

Seems kinda harsh based on tidbits of message board information. Let's be real, 3 different growers could all grow the same clones and all have buds that were a little different. There are so many factors contributing to the final product.

I wouldn't be surprised if their Shoreline is not authentic, but I don't think anything else of theirs would be falsely advertised.

What you say makes sense bro, different grows and different pheno's will have different results. I purchased a pack of devils Harvey Casey Jones last week and they gave 3 shoreline as a freebe gift. I'll grow out the the 3 and then make my own desicion, I remember shoreline its a beauty I could never forget, very distinctive. I have heared devils harvest version is has the stench but not much punch behind her. We will soon find out.

Stanky is right. DH's shoreline isnt Shoreline in anyway. They got a fake cut from another member on here. Look it up the info is out there. There Casey is legit though, its same Casey CSG used in crosses.

I know somebody that ran 2 packs of there shoreline. All were tiny little plants with zero vigor that smelled like Mr. Bubble bubblebath. To this day he says they were the worst plants hes ever grown.

With all the hacks out there trying to scam you with bullshit seeds, it's almost more logical to assume every breeder is a lying prick until they prove themselves otherwise, and seeing as shoreline is a clone only, and they're not labeling it an s1 they're just selling the name shoreline, that's shoddy business practice as far as genetics go, furthermore I said I READ that they're a joke and their shoreline sucked, and didn't know because I won't spend money on s1 laziness from some hack trying to cas in on someone else's selection.

P.s. Their shoreline won a cup at HTCC, which, let's be serious, means they were the highest bidder. You shouldn't have to grow something to know the breeders crap, just check out some grow logs, and look into the breeders history of business practice and general reputation. I keep finding fire in all the seeds I pop, because I learn from others mistakes and vet breeders before handing out my cheddar

Long story short.... Moved to tx. Obtained shoreline and ran the cut for 2 years. Moved back west and didnt bring her with. Tried DH shoreline and found nothing that resembles the cut I had. More NL to me than anything...

That's unfortunate, really. I'm doing some now tho I will say they're thriving. I'm worried about all the "Hermy" tendencies they say they have. I just know it was some of the best skunky-smelling stuff I had ever had and I wanted (more) to try. I made a bunch of clones but I'll toss em all if they get any ballzzzz. (Can I say that?)
Peace

Hmmm the consensus seems to be unanimously opposed to what Paul and Dara of DH are vehemently claiming to be their signature strain. But I will say that whatever cut they do have, can't be absolutely worthless bc it has placed and won in the HTTC and the Spannabis Expo for Concentrates as well as a few others. I have never seen their version of the Cut but I think vetting their claims should be top priority. I would also say that the Corpus/Galveston Shoreline (named because its grown on the Coast and not bc of Shoreline Amphitheater) must either be a different plant altogether or somebody along the way decided to adapt their pseudo orgins to the True Shoreline Cutting passed out in 98 from ATX.

Bro if you have ever been to a cup you would understand how the statement "it can't be worthless because it won a cup" is absolute nonsense. I have seen flat out black trim rosin win solventless over 6* icewax because the nasty trim rosin was pressed by the judges homies. Until it's judged anonymously and blindly, the statement "I won a cup" means nothing more than having the money to buy it or the connections. It's all politics and money. Case in point, dinafem wins cups. Thugpug does not. Who really makes the better genetics of the two??

So you're saying HT has zero integrity, and not much if any validity exists whatsoever in terms of their cup results? What about the High Life Cup? Spannabis Expo? Emerald Cup? I know The Emerald and HTCC both use blind testing for the judges. Anyway I hear you And agree that Cups can be a popularity contest and can even be influenced No doubt. I would also agree with your verdict on HT , the cartoon caricatured staff of writers are more an assembled group of branded clowns promoting a comic book lifestyle more than any form of journalism. Their days of running the scene have ended.
