This is an outrage. Once again we have evidence that the use of medical marijuana is not a forgone conclussion.
Many people think before long every state will have legalized it.
NOT SO!
Activists must not sit back on their heels.
Even the states that have passed legalization bills haven't really made provisions for cultivation, distribution and use laws. People's rights are still up in the air and open for interpetation by the local constabulary as they see fit.
Thank goodness Ms. Banda has friends in Kansas and they seem well on their way to getting her the funding for her defense.
But why should she have to defend herself? That is the question we should all ask.
The fight is long from won and we lose ground everytime an injustice of this nature is perpetrated upon our citizenry.
