I just picked up a box and the manufacture stamp says Jan 05. Is this stuff dead? It says for maximum microbe activity use within 2 years and it's now like 2 1\2 years who thinks I should take this stuff back?thanks for any info! nuggler

The microbes might be old but the guanos will be good. Just add it to a tea and brew it up. It will produce microbes again.

I ALWAYS add kelp to all of my teas. I cannot do without it and neither can my plants.

ya know i was just looking at kelp today at the hydro shop just seeing what my options were i shoulda grabbed some. the one i was lookin at was a powder. they had some two part stuff and of course granma enggies and such. what do you use?liquid or powder. the powder was 19$ for a fairly small little container.can't remember the brand off hand.

Maxi-crop liquid is what I have at the moment. I like to use the kelp meal also but it is not carried around me so I rely on the liquid. I have a gallon coming now.

I also like Neptunes Harvest brand.
