well this plant was going beautifully untill i switched her here from CFL to a 400w hps which burned the leaves and for some reason made her start veging more than (i think) she should be. you can see at the top that the leaves are coming out and also they dont have many tricomes on them.

i was thinkin no more than 2 weeks and id probably chop her but should i cut her now cause it doesnt seem shes puttin out like she used to.

I was wondering, how long has it flowered, what are ya feeding with, and what strain is it ? BC

she started flowering march 25th. been feeding her with miraclgrow 'rose plant food' and i dont know what strain it is. (yes i know its not good to use miracle grow but for my first grow it did just fine....)

what i really want to know is; if i keep trying to 12/12 and it keeps vegging like she is will it lose potency? so should i cut her soon?

Well, I'm not sure how much N is in that MG, but I'm bettin it's quite a bit, judging from how green it is. This may be why she's tryin ta grow leaves (?). I think right now, I would try an flush all the extra nutes out of her that I could. Since yer at 10 weeks of flower and she doesn't look ta be hardcore sativa, she should be done. I think the extra N has prolonged her life tho. So, I think purging her might help her finish her life cycle, and hopefully add some more trics along the way. As green as it is, I'd be willing ta bet it wouldn't burn if she were cut and dried right now. So my advice would be flush her good and give her only water fera couple of weeks. This is a good one for many ta learn from, so please post back the results. Good luck man! Take care... BC

Hey Xaint.... BC has some good advice there - start flushin her immediately and just let her run her course until she's nice 'n ripe.

I'm curious though - did you change her environment when switching her from a CFL to HPS? Just changing the strength of her lighting wont affect flowering/veg... other than she will get increased light and therefore increased growth and consumption of nutrients.

I'm just thinking if she was looking 100% perfect right before you flipped to HPS, and you did change the environment she was in, perhaps there are light leaks in there causing her to reveg?

i did switch the environment but not by much i increasde the ventalation to 2 6" 3200rpm intake and exhaust fans and 2 6" clip fans that blow on her. the temperature might have been a bit warmer than before. also theres a heavy cloth in front of the closet so there shuldnt be any light leaks

this is what she looked like a lil while ago

heres a link to my other thread that explains how it started

Hmm... well even in her earlier pics she looked to be having way way too much N... possibly nute burn.

I have experienced where a flowering lady began to revert just because I flooded her with way too much N and burned the shit outta her. Perhaps that's why you're seeing what you are...since her actual environment didnt change that much.

Either way, I'd still stick with the original plan - flush her and keep flushing, no nutes at all, until she's ready to pluck.

its simple as far as i can see if the leaves are too green its over nuted if they are too yellow its under nuted . no more than 1200 ppm
