SG peyote pillar- any tips on how to use?

so basically im from the uk and ive recently got into buying quality glass, we dont have a good glass scene at all so ive to "buy before i try" lol

my most recent purchase has been a sovereignty peyote pillar

now ive seen a lot of videos of people using it on youtube, but the one thing i dont know is what is the "Proper" water level to use on this piece?

this may seem like a silly question but ive never actually experienced a bong where such a small change in the water level affects the pull and hit to dramatically

so all you owners out there let me know what your opinion is?

I think its all down to personal preference with water levels some like a lot of water others like to just cover their percs, sorry it's not really helpful but just find a level you are happy with.

well I don't have one but you described it best in regards to water levels and draw, I like to cash my bongs bowl w/a single toke, so water level adjusted properly & a small medicinal hit loaded I get just what I want every time unless I miss seeing the rare seed.......

you've got a quality piece of glass in hand, figuring out its quirks will be half the fun

i had one in 09. dont remember what i went by. congrats for getting into the heasy/scientific glass game. my best advice would be to watch youtube vids to see where others set it.

yeah trial and error has been a lot of fun, been getting too high to remember what i changed most of the time lol

I jst thought since its supposed to be one of the best pieces on the marke, id better make sure im using it right LOL

it really is weird tho how much a tiny amount of water changes the hit

like with concentrates if i put loads of water in right to the seal it hits great, but with flowers it seems to be different

stoner4 life, im with you on the cashing the bowl in one, i dont like ramming the bowl full of buds i find it harsh, i prefer ground up single hitters

Nice piece. Make sure to use distilled water in it, water stains suck and are a pain to get out of nice glass.

Fill the whole beaker bottom with water leaving a 2cm gap at the top. So it can diffuse a little bit before it goes up the tubes.
