sexing patience

Im trying to exercise patience as I have 14 day old plants (since taking the cutting), that Im still waiting for sex organs on. I rooted them under 12/12 and I am eager to see what sex they are so that I can thin out the total count with males going in the trash. Also very eager because the plants from which the cuts came from are getting pretty good size for the container they are in. I dont want to spend the time and resources transplanting males that will be ripped anyways. I know as soon as the donors/potential mothers receive more rootzone that they will blow up in size so this is why Im chomping at the bit to get sexxed!! Some of the donors appeared to be more mature than others so I realize this is going to play a major part in the process. When I get anxious, I just remember that I should be grateful because I took only one cut to each donor and out of 38 cuts I only lost three. 14 days and waiting, any day now

ok going on 17 days from taking cuttings, the now clones which have been under 11 hours of cfl a day since the razor blade are begining to stretch and swell at the nodes but no signs of either pistils or pods on any of them, however I feel confident that i should begin to see signs of puberty by weeks end. Thinking of feeding a light mix of bloom formula to see if the elevated levels of p-k help push out signs of keeper material or trash.
Any suggestions? My conscious says.... yeah, sit back smokle a jib and be patient

What plants did the clones come from? They are just branches off the parent and stable strains will not change sex randomly. They will flower, just be rather stunted and have less harvest potential if they remain in those tiny cups.

you didn't know the sex of the plant they were cut from?..multiple donors?

oh yeah sorry, yes, they are all from seed, hindu kush from sensi, and none of them have been flowered yet as they just sprouted in october this year. What I did was mark them 1 to 38 and as I took a cut, I marked the cutting cup with the corresponding donor.

Im topping the donors again tonight as its been two weeks since last time.

just be patient dude .... i'm going through the same thing right now , waiting sex on 55 seedlings . only difference is i'm waiting on the seed plants to show .... i didn't take cuttings . i just kept them in 5" squares till they show , then i'll transplant them into 2 gallon pots of coco .

also.... growing new sprouts under 11 on and 13 off. Just doing that so I can weed those males out right away. I know it goes against the grain of what most do, which is growing on a flower schedule straight from seed, but I have seen sex in soon as 24 days from sprouts. Those are freebies from herbies (widow x skunk), and like I said I generally wouldnt do it that way but I need the room. Ill revert the females to a veg cycle after sexing. I got 16 freebies total from herbies and they all sprouted.
BTW, anyone grow out TH seeds darkstar, acorn, or sage/sour before?

do you have light leaks? i imagine that could hasten sexual identity?

well it took just a bit longer than I wanted, but thats the way things go sometimes I guess. Out of 50 reg seeds I ended up with exactly half (25) to be confirmed pistil growers. If I had to do it my way I would of started with fem seed but this particular strain is only avail as regulars. Thanx for sticking it out with me, your all invited over for blue cheese stuffed olives, hot beef sausage, crackers, honey mustard, gourmet mushrooms, and red wine. Today is a good day.
