Did that catch your attention? :pointlaug

A friend picked up 10 seeds of the strain Sex from KindSeeds in Vancouver. I'm growing them til I pull the females and then he's taking them over.

This is a THC Lab strain. They claim 27.3% THC, 1.0% CBD for what that's worth. A couple of people have said it's a very potent strain.

SEX

The idea behind picking this strain up is that it's rated (by them) as one of the strongest strains and yet it finishes in 8 weeks. He needs something that can be harvested with his main strain and be able to pull some killer personal out of his room. Yield was not a concern. He wants a different high sometimes over the usual Indica coma.

Anyone have any experience with this one?

At this point it seems to be a smaller plant then all the other seeds I planted at the same time. kind of wispy. We are at about 5 weeks and no sex yet.

Click the word SEX in my first post. It's a link to the strain.

I don't have too much faith in their claim of 27% but I have been told by someone who tokes enough variety that it is strong. :yummy:

The thing about thc content is that you'll get different results from different techniques and different standardized samples. I'm no expert but from what I gather some tenchiques will rarely produce a result higher than 10-15%. Sam had purchased pure thc as a lab standard for calibrating gc/ms machines from several very reputable suppliers only to find that it was very far from pure. Any lab which used the samples to calibrate their machines would read a much higher result that is actually true. So if one wanted to produce a very high test result they could easil find a lab with a very impure standard to calibrate their machine and a method which produces higher than normal results. Also you don't just stick an entire bud in the machine and get a result. I may be wrong but I believe you use a very small piece of a bud and I believe you mix it with some solvent and use that for analysis. One could easily take a small sample with a very high concentration of gland heads to produce a very high result. Sadly these analysis are only useful for comparing cannabinoid ratios to reach other and comparing samples only when using the exact same method calibrated to the exact same standard.

it is called "172"
it´s like the "69",but the male had a bottle of cognac "103" inside the.... :chin:

wierd.. most plants wont yeild 20% resin let alone 20% thc... so anytime i hear numbers like that (20%+) i tend to walk away.. smoke it and if it's good i'll listen to that, but those numbers at best tell me about thc:cbd ratio.

Yeah, when I hear results of over 20% THC, I tend to take it with a grain of salt... thirty percent would be like almost one third of total mass of the buds, sounds unbelievable. Though, what do I know.

Finishes in 69 days...? No hermies, straight-up conjugal relations within the organism...? OK, I will stop...

I heard about this clone going around, but no one I know 'Bit,' so I assumed it was no big deal.

Always ready to learn something new, however, and the name, well it is marketable, fer sure.

Quite sexy. arr arr

Where is the Foldout pinup-pix, with the staple holes in the center. - I know I said I would stop -

It's a cross.

Sex gets her potency from a Haze ancestor,

That would suggest it has Sativa and the earlier finish would suggest Indica I would think.

It shows in the catalog as a split between the two.

It cost 108.00 can. Not expensive if compared to other exotic strains. A lot of the Haze strains will cost us 300 and up.
