Sex Questions

Hi, can anyone tell from these pictures if they are male or female? I have looked at the sexing plants page but I'm still not sure.

So the one I am really confused about is my Double Strawberry Diesel, here are a few pics:

This first one looks like a male flower, but looks like a pistil coming out

Maybe this picture helps?

This is the whole plant, which smells faintly of wild strawberries. That pot has a 15" opening, to give you an idea of it's size:

And this one here, which I got from some Hashplant I bought earlier this year, looks female to me because it looks like a pistil on the top(to the left):

And here at a node, still looks female to me, but not sure:

These two are officially the first two I have ever attempted to sex. I still have another 5 or 6 in the veg room to sex, out of the 9 left total:

That room is approx 91" long, 30" wide and 36" tall. My flower room is 91"x60x36. It should be interesting with the 1K HPS I got in there, especially with the huge pots I got. I will post a diary when it is finished if anyone is interested. I have been keeping one but I don't want to publish it till it's done, I already started one I did not finish.

Ok, well thank you for your help and if you need more pics or whatever let me know.

I will try to get more pics. I have been going by the guide you posted to try to figure it out on my own. I think that they are both female. That hashplant has a pistil at the top and the reason I thought the DSD was a male was because of the Calyx. Unfortunately it's very difficult to bring this information with me into the grow room. It's hard enough to get myself in there.

Thanks a lot of the charts you supplied and your input.

Thanks for your input.

The top 3 photos are a double strawberry diesel and the next two are a hashplant. I am pretty sure the hashplant is female and think the DSD may also be female.

The age of the plant - something like 3 months since I sprouted the seed. It as been under 24/7 lighting until 2 weeks ago when i switched to 12/12. I did transplant it from a smaller pot a few days before switching to 12/12 and the roots were quite thick around the base of the pot, made me think that it might be root locked.

The plant has been moved to 3 different locations, in hiding under a garbage bag every time and twice in a car. I went long periods between watering sometimes. Perhaps all the stress hermied the plant?

I will take better pics, is there anything in particular I should take a pic of? or just the nodes?

Thanks for your time.

No problem.
Yes some more of the nodes near the top of the plant and some full pics of height and any other signs of sex you see.
Male plants always show signs of sex before females and its usually around 1-2 weeks after you see the males that the females will be showing their sex.

THANKS.

dont worry bro you got plenty of time to get them out of the room if they end up being male. the last pic in LUDACRIS attachments from weedfarmer or something like that is the best looking example. wait till the males look like the one in the pic or the female signs are for sure (pistils out of calyx). at the stage int the pic no pollen will escape and impregnate your precious other buds. get them out ASAP check them daily and if you do this they will be out the room well before pollen hits air.

It's good to know that females may show signs later, perhaps that's why this one isn't so cut and dry?
Here's a few more pics, sorry for the crappy lighting but I have not yet gotten the hang of taking a pic under the HPS:

This first one looks like a male flower to me, but that actually turns into a leaf on other parts of the plants I have seen.

You can see the same types here, just after they started unwinding into leaves

And a couple of more pics.

I think i can see a pollen sack. Just turn the lights off and take some pics as 10-20 mins of darkness wont harm them and you can message me anytime if you have any problems as i am always glad to help so dont worry about contacting me as you are welcome but i still cant call it for sure as i wont give you the wrong answer based on what i can see.

LUDA.
