Hi folks! Let me start by saying that I love y'all man and i have had successful grow after successful grow thanks to y'all!
Now i need your help again ICMAG.
2 10x10 rooms. i have ran with 1000w bulbs before but I have preferred used 600s in my 4x4 or 4x8 tents.
I understand that 1000 watt bulbs will be better for 5x5 spaces so thinking of going with 4 per room 9 plants in 5 gal containers under each light for a total of 72.(starting the clones in 4" pots)
now for my question, i dont have a dedicated veg area just a mother room. Should i veg with a single 1000 watts while plants are small and as the plants grow turn more lights on? or should i buy 400/600/1000 w mh bulbs and have 9 plants under each light from the start? or should i buy fluorescents t5?
I know that all application can work, but I'm considering Electricity costs, and replacement bulbs cost.
another thing i must point out is that currently i start under t5, than move to 400w mh than go to 600w hps BUT i only run a 4x4 and 4x8 at the moment and replacing 3 mh bulbs and 3 hps is not a big deal but with 8 its a lil different. With that being said if a difference in growth will be substantially worse going from start to finish with hps only i will fork out the cash for the mh's.
