Service to find out who has been arrested?

Someone posted something on a service you can purchase that allows you to see who has been arrested. Not sure what it was but it was useful for looking up the people you know to see if they have been arrested before they come back to you

Does anyone know a service like this; if so, how soon does their arrest appear on the site?

I don't think that site is very accurate because I just tried to look up someone that was arressted on july 14 and it didn't show up. I gave all the correct details.

I'd appreciate it if you guys would look up some info and test it for yourself.. see what results you get. The site is free unless you want a complete background check.

If you find it inaccurate, what else would you recommend?

FYI, I tried 2 known arrestee's and neither of them came up. Bunk IMO.

Someone being arrested doesn't put them into the system. Once they are convicted then they are put into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and State computers......

I didn't pop up on my drug charges from a couple years ago but I did pop up on something that was expunged a while ago, go figure.

You need to check by state. http://dw.courts.wa.gov/index.cfm?fa=home.home
That's for Washington, do a search for your state and they probably have the same thing.
BTW - Your name does go into the system just for an arrest. Even expunged speeding tickets come up on this site.

It stopped updating like 2005.
