Serious Seeds Chronic Quality?

I grow in an 8 site swc in an armoir under a 400w HPS in a cool tube. Usually do sog from clones. I would like to yield a little more, and this looks like a good way to do it. However, I've read stuff about bad taste, smell etc. from this strain. I'm curious if this stuff holds up to the quality test for some personal stash. thanks for the input in advance.

i personally didnt think it was killer.
it yielded well, but not worth it imho.

I'll echo thorodee, sure grew massive colas, but the quality of the herb was sub-par.

My overall experience with SS genetics has been awesome but I have to say that I was not impressed at all with Chronic. The yield was average at best (that may have been attributed to my growing style...who knows) and the taste was horrible (don't think that could have been my fault...2 week flush).

I have grown Chronic for over a year because I have a couple of med patients that use it for pain. I consider it to be Crocodile Dundee weed;you can smoke it,but it tastes like shit. The pheno I have is a 9 week,multiple top, fairly good yielder, but I am growing it for the last time. Most of my patients have switched to Jedi or P-91, both good for pain, but with a better taste. Chronic can be very potent, but there are others just as potent and better tasting.

It's a good yielder, with an average taste (mine tasted mildly like Sweet Tarts) and a pretty decent stone. Still much better than most commercial on the street. Oh, and did I mention the yield? I want her back...

don't know.... but if it's still around and breeding itself into wins at cups... I'd say it's still around for a good reason

Chronic, is alright for being pretty commercial but it is also some what bland. Works good in many crosses too.

well i have kept a chronic mom for about a year now... the thing about chronic is, it doesnt cure well. you gotta let it fully air dry....FULLY. i read this somewere before i bought it.

when dried correctly, a good chronic pheno should have a delightful floral taste. 1 pheno , i didnt keep, tasted like rose petals when smoked in the bong. she was foxtail madness and fat ass colas. the one i kept is the fat spear shaped cola pheno, with a nice flowery, spicy kinda taste. i'll get some pics when i have a chance.

I thought it sucked. Yielded heavy yes, but no high for me. Of course i am on the upper end of burnt out, but decent herb will get me high, Chronic did not.

i have a pack of chronic what is the germ rate on those seeds. what would be a good cross whith chronic blueberry ect....
