Well never coming back would be helpful. Other than that your just playing delay tactics.

Good point...never going back would be an acceptable outcome for me ..
Are you speaking from experience?

step 1 would be getting a couple hundred acres, right?

clear out a section directly in the middle, nice long driveway so you can fell a few trees and plant brush at the entrance... they'd have to look purty hard for ya

i'd want a few greenhouses for year round food production.

tubes of cyanobacteria, aeroponics + a-frames, solar panels, rain barrels, geothermal, outdoor oak lincoln log style shiitake mushroom cultivation, mulch and compost for other mushies, hanging oyster mushroom sacks, nets along the greenhouse ceiling for epcot style decades old tomatoes and hanging cucurbit vines and pole beans,

cleared acreage outer edge sacrifice crops for deer and rabbits, cz-527 chambered in 7.62x39, cz-75 + plenty of ammo, shotty and a 22lr gun of some kind, machetes and chainsaws,

i dunno i ran out of ideas.

yikes - that'll freeze up the ol 'nads in an instant :frown:

 you bet...its spring fed from an aquifer
Even in the middle of summer its pins and needles
Cold...keeps the beers chilled tho
Need to harness the cold for some sort of refrigerant....i was thinkin maybe run it thru some copper tubing in a buried drum kinda thing...it would have to be bear proof
