Sensi Star & Permafrost SR from the Denver dispensary.

I got some weed from a local Denver dispensary just to try on the weekend. The pic is from what is left of the 2 strains I purchased this weekend.

The Sensi Star tasted a lot like an Afghani I grew a while back. I've always heard of people talking about "feeling it in the back of your eyes" or in the head somehow but never experienced it till this. It's definetly a couch lock and extremely relaxing but think 1-2 more weeks would have made this sample legendary. The sensi is also the densest nug i've seen yet. It's a very relaxing weed and found it seemed to help keep me centered and focussed (if I didn't smoke too much). If you smoke a lot though you'll have a delicious night's sleep.

The Perma Frost was not as strong or at least as couchlock as the Sensi and didn't have much of a taste. It was strong and it felt medicinal but I found myself reaching for the SS more often. I think it was good but I liked the calming feeling of the star more often.

That resin is some qwiso I made that a friend wanted to see.

What's good? Sensi Star is a treat! I had some a few years back in Cincinnati. It was just how you described it. After, breaking up what looked like a bowls worth, a friend and I smoked two bowls and I could focus so well that I could actually perceive depth while playing an fps on my computer. After my K ratio was up 200% I crashed and after waking up 45 minutes later I was ready for psych class haha

You know how digital cameras can be with weed, if the flash doesn't hit the buds in the right way\right angle really good weed can look average at best.

Despensaries DO sometimes have "cheap" stuff for people who don't care much about flavor and aroma. They also have top shelf weed that is literally the best in the world (well, depending on the club).

@iron_lion: I've been to about 4 dispensaries and yeah its kind of normal to see these ultra dense buds... it's like they're growing for weight instead of the high. I only like one dispensary (CCF). Their buds look more like what you would see here and think they grow in coco from the pics and taste.

@orphanic: Yeah bro, I was just telling lion I like CCF. Their double diesel was the best weed i've ever smoked. Wonderful taste and intense cerebral high like a haze.

The nugs were very dense from what I recall and for some reason I was thinking about afghani today. I don't really like the taste of afghani and think it's similar to black licorice and the sensi star had an undertone of it. It had a very peculiar high tho and thought it helped with my ADHD, usually weed just makes it worse tho.
