Hi I have one maple leaf and she is 10 week under 12 12. I can't see amber trich only cloudy. Also calyx isn't super fat compare to my other strain. Buds itself is fat and rock hard. I never grow pure indica and never grow afghan before. I don't know what to do, to chop or leave another 10 or more days I really want to see calyx little more fat. Anyone grow maple leaf indica? If she have fat calyx or?

I'd wait for a bit of Amber myself. I haven't grown the maple leaf indica myself, but always been curious. Can you tell us when you purchased the seeds? Also keep us update on how you like the finished product. I may grab a pack if you used current stock and like them.
I love MLI, great plant! Those look great, I normally harvest when the trichs are all cloudy and a few amber. Now I havnt had a 10 week pheno yet. Are you sure about you time from light cycle change?
I have grown MLI several times. I would chop it. I took one grow MLI 84 days and it was too long. I took another 75 days and I think it was too long.
In the future I will chop at 9 or 10 weeks for sure. When I say I left them too long, I mean the smoke was good but I feel it would have been better still if taken at 9 or 10.
I do not recall the calyxes getting any bigger past 9 weeks.

Fully agree yessum, the effect is way better harvested early. My fav is the 55 day. I can't find my bloody pics for the life of me. I will post them when I find them or when I pop more.
Hi yesum I read your thread your Mli looks awesome. My Mli also start to make bananas at 4 week of flowering but only few. I remove them and now at 10 week I can see only one seed on mli plant. I don't think hermi is my mistake because other strains don't have male flowers. Sensi say 45 - 55 days but I want to harvest by thrich color. Mli is heavy yeilder even in my soil compost. I think in coco or hydro this plant can make record.
I take indicas a little early now. I used to wait to see all dark pistils and a lot of amber thrichs. I think that is the wrong way. If the bud is fat and the leaves start to turn yellow I chop.
On a sativa I will leave them go longer. The sativa can get a jumpy feeling if chopped early but the indica will not have the tired effect if chopped early and never gets a nervous effect.

i have noticed similar with some of the hybrids i've grown, early doesn't necessarily mean jumpy
indoor sats is still unexplored territory for me though
