Sending seeds from USA to UK.

Hello!

I was planning on sending some seeds for Nirvana's freebies this week and I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks to consider when packaging and shipping these babies? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried using the search function but I didn't find anything really solid. I ask because I plan on sending upwards of 200+ seeds and I'd rather not have them lost or taken up.

hey samuri, i use bubble pack envelopes as do most people. i actually use two envelopes of different sizes, one inside the other and make sure to use enough postage.

thats the ones. double pack like i said. smaller inside the larger. ive gotten from all over the world and sent as well. never lost a package once using that method. you could aways use a msic cd with them inside, i, but i find it overkill. but you can always use the cd as the claim for the customs certificate you have to sign when mailing anyway.

Very cool. I was thinking about vacuum sealing the seeds and doing what you mentioned. Manilla bubble pack inside a larger manilla bubble pack.

Maybe I'm making a bigger deal out of this than I need to. It's just a lot of seeds to lose if they were to be lost.

especially since it is going to the uk man, dont sweat it. their laws are different than ours. as long as there is NO plant maertial, the seeds are psuedo legal. htey dont see the seeds as plants and usually leave them alone. if they got nabbed, it would be on the us side, and they dont check mail closely enough, unless there are obvious bulges, or you use ovbious lumps. shit even the bous packaging makes it through 90 percent of the time, and it is not as stealth as bubble mailers.

truthfully my friend, lose the special packaging, its just a liabilty. if you use the method i describe, it makes it a "bulky" package and it doesnt get run through the rollers. and even if it does, the seeds are very well protected by 2 layers of bulle wrap on each side of them as well as 2 layers of thick paper. not seen a crushed seed yet, just use your little baggies and all will be fine!

You can use the ends for report covers, the little plastic clips that slide on the page ends to keep them together. work great.

like i said, never had a problem, but my friends sometimes tape them to paper, or posterboard, the like, or like i said, you can put the baggies into a cd case, etc. as long as it looks like a normal thing to send in a bubble mailer. i usually just claim pictures, since you cannot feel the seeds inside two layers of bubble wrap.
