selling pounds to Cali dispensaries

I did run a search on this and did not find the info I was looking for.

What I would like to hear from those who know....

How hard is it to sell your extra to a dispensary if you grow legal medical marijuana?

Is there any a license required besides your actual medical card?

How hard is it to walk in to a dispensary and meet the people who would have the ability to buy your marijuana?

Are the dispensaries very selective about what quality they buy? Do they buy mid grades or just high quality strains?

Call them, ask them if they are interested in purchasing flowers, state strain and thats its indoor. Say that you are looking to become a vendor for them. Drop in and give sample and wait for a call. Or if they are really interested, you walk in with a briefcase and go to the back room.

I am not in California right now. I plan on moving there. If I was, I would just go there in person and ask.

I suppose I could make a few calls, but I thought a few people here who know could inform me.

My main concern was if there are fees or licenses required, or if it is merely based on a business relationship.

as far as leaving samples and waiting for a call, unless your meds are the best in miles at a ridiculously low price, this wont pan out.

You need to bring in a full pound, make sure you are talking to the buyer and try to make a sale on the spot. Otherwise you are giving them free smoke that wont convert into a sale, budtenders love taking samples home even though they have no say in the purchase.

Yea bro ur lookin at getting jack shit for a pound of top of the line high grade indoor. Unless u got alot of expirience and are really pumpin out some fire i would consider another state. Alot of cali growers are strugglin to get rid of nugs and when they do its getting dumped off at extremely low prices. East coast is the way to go

Thats exactly what most dispensaries are. They lowball vendors and rip off customers. 100% markup is pretty standard, so if your bud is only gonna sell for 50 bux an 8th (which means its pretty dank in cali) they want it for 25 or less.

i know for a fact that a few local clubs put the "samples" on the shelf for 60 an 8th. they try to squeeze every last penny.

pandora, find another profession. if you cant figure out these things on your own then dont expect people to hold your hand. get your card, become a member of a club, grow some point, walk in and sell it. prepare to be lowballed or told no cash for a week. pretty much sums up everything you need to know. clubs love lowballing the hell out of unconnected newbies to the game. only people getting 32 at the clubs are the guys who have been in it since 215 began and have their strains dialed and coveted on the street.

Look man in cali you will always be able to getcrid of your smoke but maybe for a low ass price. Just from that pic alone I don't think you will make it trying to do this, not in cali. You looking at getting 1900 an lb outside LA, maybe 22 in LA.

If your okay with those numbers and having to go to a couple clubs and a lot of the time coming back home with your product the hit up cali.
