Ok got a dilemma i got alot of equipment i sold to a guy... i found out the house was raided... Im in a med state but that grow was not a med grow...

the house was kicked in when no one was home... Im not sure about the bills and names of house but i know he was probably smart enough to have fakes...

im wondering... after 8 months would my finger prints still be all over the equipments... fans, lights, controllers, cloners... had my hand on half if not all equipment...

i have no idea how many plants or watts... i was informed by someone that heard about it and put two and two together..

im a legal med grower but am worried that they might get prints think it was my house run my name get my house and kick in my legal grow...i dont know what i should do atm... im not sleeping thats for sure....

Most likely they cops aren't going to bother with fingerprints. That would be like "police work", and more importantly a waste of time. It's more productive for them to just move on to the next grow house & kick in the door. Yeah your prints are going to be on the stuff, unless the guy cleaned the equipment. Do you have priors? Are you on probation for growing? Do they even have a copy of your fingerprints on file? Seriously when you get your car stolen, they don't bother with fingerprints. At least not in Los Angeles.

Medicate a little less, you sound paranoid.

They don't have any time or desire to print stuff.... they got their bust now on to the next. They would need a reason to bother printing it.... why waste the manpower

It's good to be paranoid but don't worry

They didnt bust anyone...? so you think they would just bust in the house stop the grow... and not bust NOONE for the grow?

Sorry read it wrong.

yes I do think they often don't get anyone, absolutely and it does happen. They can take it in all sorts of directions but fingerprinting is spendy. And the printing would have needed to be done there on a certain time line or logged a certain way..... they throw that shit in boxes

Dude if it's not your grow, don't worry about it. If you were seen setting up an entire house & the neighbors know you, then that's different. If you're already on probation for growing, have your grow just down the street, and frequent the house.... well then you should consider shutting down.

Are your fingerprints on record somewhere? If not, then they aren't in any database to reference. If they are, I seriously doubt if the cops took any prints. All that CSI stuff on tv is just that, tv. Not much of that goes on in the real world. Plus if it's been 8 months, your prints should be pretty much covered over by everyone elses. So don't sweat it.

no way would they EVER look for prints... maybe if someone was murdered in the growroom they would look for prints, but not in this situation that you portray...

Yeah, I think fingerprinting and all that comes with it is pretty expensive and time consuming, therefore usually only used in violent crimes or where a murder took place.
I think you good to go Poopy. (just stop smoking them paranoia sativas lol)

Grow equipment isn't illegal. There's no way they could get a warrant for your place by showing that your fingerprints were on a ballast or whatever.

That isnt true. A gun or knife isnt illegal either but when used to commit a crime, they fingerprint and someone is SOL.

I do agree that they probably arent going to fingerprint anything. I had 3 different places busted in one case, and not one place had fingerprints taken. These were LARGE ops too.

Also, you are legal right? So even if they do find your grow, you are cool. Simply tell them you sold the equipment a while back since you didnt need that much equipment to stay within the med limits you have.

This may be a situation where if they do a knock and talk, you may want to consider co-operating

You'll be fine

Your fine buddy, also on it would be the new owners prints, probably completely obscuring your prints by now after 8 months, and then there would be the prints of whoever assembled and packed it at the factory.

It's not illegal to sell grow equipment, but I think I see your fear, they find you and your legal grow, tear it all down and put you through a bunch of BS before charges are dismissed.

IMO the chances of this coming back to you are so slim as to be almost nonexistant

Sorry sir but that CSI stuff you talk about is real it's simply a matter of funding for states to have it or not. All writers of the show spend a certain amount of time every year with the actual CSI staff in LV. This in turns keeps them abreast of all the new stuff they are actually able to show on tv.

The technology to see through walls that everyone talks about has been had by our government for over 5 years now. As far as prints being messy they have scanners now that have dropped in price and will be prevalent in our local law enforcement over the course of the next 10 years.

To me having SEVERAL members of my family in federal and state law enforcement everyone's main concern needs to be the new smart meter's and the falling cost's of those unmanned drones. The meter red flags ya so a drone is sent to fly over your hood doing a so-called common sweep. These damn things have damn near EVER detection device on them mainly being Flur. They Flur your lights during this so called sweep and then they start digging deeper with little cost involved in the investigation.

Poopy your good man. Unless they can put you at the scene of the crime finger prints on equipment is not worth the trouble of investigating. Hell man maybe you touched it at a yard sale and decided not to buy it and the guy they busted did. They gotta have ya at the scene or being involved with the one they busted during the actual case they raided him on.

I will say this tho. Damn near every law enforcement officer I have talked to in the past few years has always said to me the same thing. "Them pot heads don't really bother me like them damn meth heads do".
