Seeds ?

I have been growing this strain; SuperSkunk from sensi seeds. I got this strain in clone form a year ago, from a known internet source.

This last harvest was as usual. Large Superskunks and some whitewidow. However, while smoking this last batch of cured smoje, I came across 'two seeds' Both viable and healthy looking. But just two lone seeds from an entire plant harvested. This plant did not hermie or any other plants in bloom hermied. I like a stress fre environment for me and my ladies!

My question is, 'Are these two seeds viable in any way, and would they be worth saving and perhaps later germinating?'

The seeds "look" like skunk seeds; slightly green tinge; and quite large and full. I have heard a plant will produce a seed or two out of survival instinct; asexual behaviour.

Is this a normal coincidence or what is it folks?

Thanks for your input and insight in advance.

Yeah,I've had that happen before, not a pollen sac in sight but I still know it came from a single grain of stray pollen. No pollen,no seed.Sometimes sacs can even form inside the bud especially late in flower. If the seeds were produced a-sexually then it can carry over to the prodginy.
Nothing left to do now besides grow the seeds and see what you get.Just keep an eye out for pollen sacs,or if they are males and you wish to use the pollen be sure to look for hairs, hermophroditism can swing both ways.

JLP,
Thanks so much for that info. I will grow these and see what happens. Looking for hermies always.

The sac formed below the bud, at the base. I did not even see it until I was smoking. LOL. Fell out in my tray. LOL

I have always wanted to know the answer to that question. I have posted it somewhere, yet no one seems to answer. I think it is because of the fact that I ask a lot of questions in the the thread..lol..just trying to learn. Good luck growing everyone. Thanks JLP for the response and Avid for the thread.

nycnoob. I asked for the same reason. I read about asexual approach do to survival somewhere on this forum These guys will answer your question when they can. JLP knows alot and can help you about these things along with all the MENTORS and MODERATORS here. Enjoy and ask away. smile. That is what I do. Great folks here.

morganleyfay. I am sure am hoping they are great seeds.

I have not even seen a male plant for it seems a year or so now. I am starting some new strains to add to my collection and replace a few with some new ones. I am trying some of BOG's, Refferrman's, and Swan Song's genetics. Hoping for some new MOMA's in the crowd and smoking some old MOMA's in the crib.

Later.
