I recently did a seed run and I am sorting them now and I have been finding cracked open seeds just barely along its division and when I opened one it was light green yellowish inside so I am thinking these are good ?

I'd think at best they'd have a shorter shelf life and should be germed very soon. At worst they're dead.

they shouldnt of been cracked open?

i just helped some beans along, pulled out of the rooter, cracked open and replant. noticed one that had some green goin, looked like a small sprout stuck in the husk. all the rest were white, you could see a shape formin.

Nevermind I though by seed run he meant he recently bought some seeds and when he opened the packs they were cracked but he's talking about germing. Sorry I made another airhead post.

I always go through my seeds once in awhile and gently sqeeze them. If they crack open then I just toss them. I guess it's just culling out the weak seeds. I found a few in my collection but not alot. I also made some DH x Northern Berry seeds on my last grow. I ended getting around 40 seeds from a small bud but all but about 15 were all cracking. They were mature but still cracked. I wonder what caused this.
