i have not made many posts here but read as much as i could, but i need help. i am under a 150hps on my eight grow. the seven before pretty successful. i have a cabinet much like pipedream's. this time around i started w/3 clones of ak-48. i have got this purple variety that i love. i do not know if ak-48 has a purple variety, but i got one from nirvana seeds. one of my clones was a hermie. i caught it, i thought, super early and removed the plant in week 2. today in week 5 of flowering i have notice the start of seeds everywhere....every f-ing where. so what do i do?

do i remove the plants in week 5 and quit? or do i follow through to maturity? if i follow through to maturity will the seeds be female? i am pretty sure not. how did this happen. although i had a hermie i sware i got it out of there immediatly. is another one of the clones hermie? i do not see any pollen sacs only only seeds pods. if i let them go will they have this purple variety? i have 2 plants in a 1 gallon dwc uder a piece of plexi-glass as a heat shield...i have a dayton fan, thanks sugarbear, exhusting the cabinet.

needles to say i am crushed but i need some good seeds if these will be good. please help

Did all the cuttings come from the same mother plant? If so it's quite likely the others are hermies too. They might have male flowers hidden in the buds.

Even if the seeds are produced by screaming benders would you rather not finish the plants than kill them close to harvest?

Purple seems to pop up occasionally in several other Nirvana strains - PPP, White Widow and White Rhino just from memory. Their seeds are cheap and would save you from quite possiby another hermie harvest next time. By the way, the purple phenos are reputed generally to have poorer highs than the green ones.

Well, seeded buds are little less potent then sensimilla (sp?), but still better then nothing. Let them mature and smoke the buds.

With those hermi seeds you can feed birds during winter ) (sorry, couldn´t resist to make this joke)

crazy shit tho... ive had 3 males in my patch all year and will have less seeds than your 3 plants heh

you could use your seeds but it seems like a real cluster fuck to me. and whatever male you got drops damn early.

if i was in your situation id grow the herm beans once to see what happens
you could always forget about sesni and just make up for herm seeds with bud quantity.

tho it could end up being a big waste of time

wow thanks everyone. i do not have any like leaks but my clones were under alot of stress when first forming roots. i have 3 clones from one of the plants that is now flowering so here are my questions...

1. if the plant that i pulled clones from is the plant that hermied will the clones be hermie?

2: the seeds that are forming now are they any good. what are the chances they would be female? What are the chance of hermie?

3. i understand that if a plant pollonates itself the seeds will be female. i also understands that this happens when female plants are left in flowering a little long and they freak ou that they have still not pollonated so they pollonate themselves. so what is the difference in hermies?

this was my first post and i appreciate the intrest..i have alos grown ICE from nirvana and had real good success. but this ak-48, although is alright, has not lived up to hype with me, but i do like this purple variety. ICE however was great so was c-99 from female seeds. anyway, again..i made this same post at another place and virtually go no feedback...i now know wher to go for questions...

even if the buds from seeded plants are less potent than sinsemilla... you can just take the seeds out, use them, and then make lots of hash out of the deseeded buds.

what about the seeds or the clones that are going in...will they be hermied? femals? or both?
