Seeds on the way! Need to square away a new design.

So, I am trying to retrofit my Ebb & Flow flower room to a one time recirculating drip system. I am doing this so that the roots stay separate so that I can cull males. After this seed run, hopefully I will find solid mother plant and I can get back to SOG Ebb & Flow. I have never done a drip system before. Here is a pic of one of the tables completed. Tips and scrutiny are welcome. I'm not sure of how I'm going to feed? I may just stick to 15min on every 3 hours (like I've been doing with E&F)

I have some Sour Grape, Sour LSD, and Blue Kush on the way!

The closer I get to receiving my seeds, the more nervous I am about starting them. I've been at this a long time (getting close to 15 yrs..damn I'm getting old, lol), but I've only grown from seed 3 times and every time has been in soil (which I'm not very good at). This time, I'm sticking to what I know: Hydro. But, I've never started seeds in rockwool, and that's what I need to accomplish here. Debating on whether to simply drop them in the rockwool, or to start in paper towel until the taproot forms and then placing into the rockwool. I just spent $300 I didn't have on seeds so I can't afford to screw this up, lol.

I’d definitely go with the paper towel nap.

It allows for proper directional placement (taproot down) when placing into whichever medium one chooses.

Good luck!

Just rinse out rock wool to remove residual debris. Easy to start in rock wool provided it is not overly saturated. You'll do fine....you might mess up, but you learn what works, what doesn't.
