seeds i made have terrible germ rate?

Took a pack of lowryder mix seeds( 10) 8 germinated .Of the 8 i got 1 nice male and 2 slected femals which got me over 500 nice dark seeds with crazy nice markings on them ( really nice looking seeds) that was about a 2 weeks ago . I placed the seeds in a small box in a dark warm place for that time .

Now a few days ago i placed about 100 of them in paper towel and only 9 out of 100 cracked open and have a tap root whats gogin on ?

They are not dry enough. Let them sit for 6 weeks.

im newb myself but i think that you have to put them in the fridge for a time at least. You cant just make seeds and plant them you have to do more stuff after that and then you test them I think please correct me if Im wrong

Add a silica gel pack, too.. Hopefully they will germinate after you let them dry completely, but having re-wet them.. I really don't know what you should expect.

I meant let the remaining seeds dry out longer. These 100 seeds are most likely spent.

you have not cured your seeds enough, let em dry out for a month before using.

plus don't quick dry your bud with seeds in em. that's not good for seeds.


seeds need to cure for a long enough perioid at least a month before using.

yep.............U need to let the seeds dry and cure....for at least a month.......maybe...longer......with good air flow...to avoid mold.....in the dark.......w/ a dry low humidity environment.......
then try placing them in the freezer for 24 hrz......
then allow them to come back to room temp for 2 dayz......
then germ as usual........this will mimic..........the circle off life....and the beans will think winter has come and gone......causing them to want to grow thinking it'z..........spring........

that confrims what i was thinking already thanks guys ill keep them drying and leave the 100 in the paper towel for a week or so then toss them . thanks everyone
