Seeds from female plants

:biggrin:Finished first grow of four plants, after harvest and cure finally came the tasting...it was good! After the cure I ended with about two oz of product. My question is: After grinding a couple buds I found 2 seeds? I know for sure all my plants were female due to watching them everyday. Is it usual for the female plant to produce some seeds, and if so are these feminized seeds? I started with 5 seeds and all came up and grew good. When I switched to flower 12/12 and blooms formed I watched very close and did find one male with textbook balls and he left. Also the start-up seeds were store bought "blueberry" and several others. If I start the new seeds I am getting from my grow will they automaticly be female plants?

I would say chances are that a nanner popped without you noticing. But kinda weird if you were checking out every square inch of your ladies everyday.... I would imagine that even the eyes of a first time grower would notice that a nanner looks out of place.... although I have had a nanner not be seen until harvest, but that was underneath a pretty thick canopy and out of site.

Hard telling man, but personally I wouldn't mess with the seeds because most chances are it came from nanner pollen. Which would make the subsequent seeds hermies. Unless you allowed one of your males to pollinate a little on accident....

But then again, it never hurts to just mess around and pop the beans for shits when you're just learning....

I disagree with above. If there was one or a few single male flowers the seeds might be all female, as it might have been stress that caused the seeds. But who knows.

You will have to grow them to see. :)

That's the plan. All the seeds are deep black in color. Being 66 years old and retired I have plenty of time to play and learn something!!

i had some seeds lying around witch i found after drying a harvest.
it was grown outside, and even tho i culled my males at an early stage ( forced some clones to flower to check ) somehow some seeds formed.

put em into a zip-lock bag, and pretty much forgot all about them, found em last year..
i had about 15 seeds, 10 of them came up ( zip-lock baggies not meant for long term storage:D ) , and 6 of them where males..

no guarantees on seeds you " find " i guess :D
