I use just a single 18w fluro & I also used to have problems similar to yours. They would stretch, fall over & die.
So now when I germinate I use cups and only full them a quarter of the way with coco or soil and as they grow I backfill. Works well

Hiya Sky,
It is nothing to worry about!
Put them in the light & carry on with the grow.
They will sort themselves out when they get more mature.

For the seedlings that have popped but still have the split seedshell
attached:- use a fine mist spray to moisten the seedshell & they should sort
themselves out.

Cool Runnings.......

prop em up with a lil soil around the bottom of the stem and get them closer to the light...they'll be fine.

If it's really bothering you, take a paperclip and straighten out 1 side of it and leave the "hook" on the other side. Support the stem with the hook and stick the straight side into the growing medium.

are they dead yet?
use somethin to loosen the medium next time. like perlite.
you need a fast-draining, sandy soil for cannabis. ie: bagged potting soil.
better luck next time :(

Hi there
Los of good advice9i have nothing new to say)*Grins*
Support them is ok till they get some strength(two tooth or anything really)
It is great to have a small fan gently blowing on them(Tho on its oscolating cycle(where it moves around))
And as the other guy said,it is good to leave a bit of space in the pots to add soil later to sink a inch or two of stem(roots will just grow out of it then i belive(under the soil of course))

Perlite is good to mix with your soil,I think it makes it easier for your roots to spread out(And helps airaite soil)
Myself i use somit like 80%soil/20% perlite(i guess i could use more perlite)

Regarding your pics
the top one does not look to be stretched really(just top heavy with the case)

The 2nd one looks ok leaf wise(can see the new growth)
Myself tho i would support it(being very gentle)and bury some of the stem(if it is 2 inchs bury a inch)
It probs wont need the support then(but i would leave it there a few days)

Anyway good luck
