Seedling with pistils...

Hey I am on my second grow, last one outdoor, this one a micro indoor. I have the light cycle on 12/12, one seed just popped the other day, and today I see that it has female flowers! It has just the baby leaves, and two small calyxes with just a bit of white poking out the end. I've heard of this like once, and couldn't find much on google. Does this mean it will grow into a small bud, or will it grow normally? I am going to grow it out just to see, but I wanted to see what you guys thought, its bagseed btw.

I guess you are growing 12/12 from the start due to size constraints? IF so, I am pretty sure that is the reason. 12/12 makes plants flower, not grow vegetation. Hope all works out. Keep it green.com

u have a female under 12/12 i dont see anything to be concerned about. unless u were hoping for a male? full on flower under 24 hours of light from bagseed like mines doin is a whole different story...lol.

that would be an anomoly, since it takes several weeks for a seedling to reach sexual maturity.

Take a look around the boards.... there are a few threads on running 12/12 from seed and the performance of different strains this way.

Nothing new... any cannabis plant is going to show sex if it's sprouted under 12/12 lighting.

yessir, just went deep into the thread to pull this...funny that there was just vague reference to original post concerning sexing time from seed...so i gleaned this for your perusal. thanks for stopping me in my tricks...uh, tracks. cannot remember where i learned this but in my experience, it is a couple weeks after germing that a seedling shows sex....

You should really be serious about those first 3 weeks .Lots of light Some blue light would be even better. By the time they show sex they should be less than 7 inches tall ! This does not meen they have been growing to slow ,they just have been growing wide instead of strechting to the sky.

only one other observed reference to sex display and it was two weeks.
not being contrary, hydro...i just wanted to see some pics. it is interesting, so i wanted to witness it. nothing sinister.
please put that away and zip up.

and i would think atmosphere might be someone who knows about 12/12 from seed. just speculation on my part.

my thoughts too...eevn were you to put a vegged pant into a 12/12 schedule it don't show short hairs for at least a week...strain dependant of course.
just sayin.
