Seedling sick?

I planted a seedling (in a smaller clay pot) it has organic soil in it, but im waiting for it to get healthy to transplant it into fox farms. Do you guys think i should wait? or go ahead and transplant a already stressed plant.

So the plant - It's about 6 inches tall, curved, lanky, and not very many leaves, which are all small. Do you guys think its the pot/soil or what do you guys think?? oh and the lowest leaves on the plant are tiny and turning yellow.

What mixture is it in now? if it's fox farm ocean forrest; forget about transplanting a seedling into that mixture; it's a death sentence. The mixture is way to strong for seedlings.

If the plant is lanky; sounds like the light is not close enough to the plant; what lighting are you using for your plant?

The mixture they are in now sounds like it's too hot for them now as it is.....

Oh ****, what is a good mixture that isn't too strong for seedlings, cuase i definatly just put a seed into fox farms after it cracked.

The mixture it's in now is just organic i believe, but i'm goign to find out, originally my friend put them in this, but then again i dont trust him to even do that so, once i find a good mixture for seedlings i'll put them in that.

And im using a 400 watt MH bulb

I would use compact fluros or fluro tubes for seedlings; wait till they grow at least 3 to 4 sets of leavces before switching to that MH, that is too strong for them, not to mention in order to not burn the seedlings with the amount of lumens it puts out, you have to keep it far away which causes the seedlings to stretch up towards the light; which is why it's best to use fluro tubes or CF's cause you can keep them very close to the plants.

Get them seedlings out of the mixture; depending on the seedling you may have lost them..... I would have to see pics of them though to tell you for sure.

Miracle grow seed starter mixture; fox farm light warrior is going to be your best bet; I always use seed starter mixture for seedlings and I kept them in there for 2 weeks and then transplanted into another mixture..... you use that MG seed starter; you won't have to mess with pH or worry about feeding since they are too young anyways. The mixture is perfect not too hot not too weak and gives them a great boost.

Hopefully, if the plants can even make a recover; I would have to see the pics of the seedlings.... but if they are recoverable; they will recover in that mixture; get some dixie cups and put some holes in the bottom and stick some mg seed starter mixture in there; also when you water your seedlings do not water the whole cup, only water where the tap root is to keep the roots moist.

k will do, the seedlings (my camera is MIA) i think are going to be allright, when i said seedling i basically just ment seed. It cracked and i put it in the FFOF for less the 24 hours before i switched it to miracle grow, so hopefully it'll respond well.
