How old are they and what size pots are they in. My first guess would be overwatering.....

im not sure i dont know how to check or balance PH in soil only now how to do it in hydro...the state is progressing only one seems to be ok and still growing strong...what do you mean when you said "i use FFOF soil right outta the bag n/p and adjust my waters PH to 6.5" what does bag n/p mean.

im pretty sure that FFOF is suppose to have some seashell crap that is suppose to help buffer the ph. I use FFOF but i add 1tbs of dolomite lime per 1 gal soil. Everyones water is different, so assuming your ph will just be fine is a devastating oversight. So in short, dolomite lime will help maintain a normal ph, but you still should be checking the runoff so you can get an idea of whats going on. The more info you have on your setup the more the guru's here will be able to help.

Yes, one teaspoon per gallon. And like Steaks said, you should have dolomite lime in your soil mix. It helps with you ph and also adds in calcium and magnesium.

so your sure that it is a magnesium deficiency? ill definately start chicking though...what could have caused a mag def in such young plants if the soil is good how did it happen..?but as long as ur sure ill do that..ill wait for ur response till i make any actions.

First thing I would do is (based on those pictures) prepair for a transplant to a larger pot. Those plants look like they are ready, and going into fresh soil will give those plants a growth spurt. I also always use dolomite lime with alot of organic soils.

yeah i just transplanted them two days ago thats probably why they still look like they needed it...the orange pots are the new ones they started in solol cups...what next....water with the epsom salts and it should be ok?
