Seedling Formed Pods

I planted a few 8 Miles High seeds in early March. They seems to be stunted in their growth due to cooler temperatures and likely general noobness.

It looks as though one of my seedlings has started to flower and has grown pods of some kind. Any thoughts on what's going on with this plant?

Hello Shadypeeks I had that same thing happen years back when I tried to grow some indica-dominant plants here at the 12/12 day/night equator.

They grew to a couple of inches tall, stopped getting taller, and then flowered exactly as yours have done. Not knowing where on the planet you are, I would guess that you have made a similar error to mine, which of course can be corrected by simply planting sativa dominant seeds that aren't so prone to flowering right after germination, if the light schedule is 12 hours or less of daylight.

I am in the south east US. plants are outside but do not get full direct sunlight...only 4-5 hours a day direct sun. are they indeed, male?

The plant is indeed a male you can see the pollen sacks that have formed. If you live in the south east of the US there isn't enough daylight yet and the plants will begin to flower if you put them out so early.

Thanks for the help all. I have scrapped this plant and put 2 more in germ. This plant actually had a twin that I pulled and replanted. That has been tossed as well.

Would've been interesting to see if the "twin" turned out to be male as well? Ive got twins before, but I can't remember if they turned out to be the same sex or not?

Hope the other two turn out to be female for ya!

Let us know how it goes and keep up the good work1

Shadypeeks, I'm going to help ya, ckuck that sick looking plant, n if the rest look the same get rid of them. I don't know y no one told ya that. It's early it the grow season start again. Try smaller starting cups n soil that's not so hot. Good luck

Maybe this pheno is more indica dominant, but the 8 miles high is a mandala strain and supposed to be 60/40 sativa.
