Seed Storage Vials

Does anyone know where I could pick up quantities of small plastic vials (or little tubs) in the UK for storing seeds? Ideally screw-top or snap-top, and with labelling potential? I've been checking out lots of medical sites, etc. but they're all a little too 'scientific', and the quantities are too large.

I'm thinking jewellery, aromatherapy or perfumes might be a good place to start, but I've had no joy so far - if anyone knows where I might start, I would be very grateful.

Ebay has perfume vials. I bought like 100 for 20 bucks.. I use them for seeds and pollen. They work great..

PS ...they are not drug related so have no fear buying from ebay..

These are epindorph tubes.....They do the job. There are kinds with a screw on lid too!

Pipeline - I have three of those left! A friend of mine got 1000 from a medical supply place years ago - very handy! Only problem is they don't stand up without a rack...

I'll have a look on eBay - never thought actually.

Just found these, though they're a little on the large side - 92mm. These in around half that size would be perfect...

And I just bought two of these units at Maplins (UK) for £1.29 each - how's that? Could be handy for multiple phenos of each strain...

Check craft supplies, beads and stuff, they have some small units that work for seeds.

I don't like to hang around - I ordered 100 of the snap-top 1.5ml vials and 100 of the 5ml screw-top vials. I can use the snap-top ones for mailing out (especially as they won't stand up), and keep the screw-top ones for fridge storage. Just have to find some really tiny labels now...

You can print and cut mailing labels into smaaaaall sizes if you have the patience.
