How do you know when the seeds are ready? I have some that the pods are cracking open and the seeds look ready but they are still green. Do you wait until they turn brown or do they turn after they are picked?
If you can write it down, or remember, a solid month from the pollination is considered the minimum, if you are using lights for at least 20 hours per day.
Otherwise, let it go an extra week, or as long as you can stand it.
It's a good idea to not skimp on the ferts in the last few weeks if you are making seeds... fill them up with all the micronutes you can so you won't have any problems not feeding them for the first couple of weeks of their new lives.
I might be a little off topic but you should also look into how to safely store your seeds as well. I guess I am just bummed. I opened up a pack of seeds that I did not dry completely to find moldy seeds. Just a heads up. All was not lost as I stored them in two separate bags and the other was fine.
