Seed/banana?

Hey everyone. I am currently at day 28 of 12/12 and one of my Oasis plants developed what appears to be a seed/banana in the main cola. I am not sure which one it is but its green(not brown like normal seed, I am leaning towards seed)and there is only one. What is the deal with it? Is it a hermie banana or a seed? Can I just pick it off and continuing growing it out or will they keep popping up and keep getting worse? Thanks

Thanks reis. I picked it off earlier, does this type of thing happen often to you? Is it considered a hermie once a seed pops up like this or not officially until the nanas start showing up? Late

It's not that uncommon for females to develop bananas, especially if it's not a real stable variety. However, I would think Oasis should be pretty stable by now. I would just keep a good eye on that plant. If it develops more bananas than you can pick off, you might need to take her early and salvage some smoke. Otherwise, just let her go full term and you should be alright!

Oasis did the same for me some years ago, around 30 days flowering it started to pop those nanners everywhere... but so did Delta-9, even worse...

420, seeds come after the plant has been pollinated. If you already see seeds then there's not a whole hell of a lot you can do. Nanners release pollen, they're male flowers...if you saw a seed then you missed a nanner that must have opened up and pollinated your plant. A seed inside its bract will look exactly like what is pictured in riesinsh's last pic on his post above, like a round, green bb LOL. A nanner is usually tending to yellowish in color, and has the form of a banana, long and skinny, usually easier to notice than a seed already formed

Some strains tend to hermie, notoriously often when the seeds are feminized. Stress (light leaks, abuse in general) can also cause a plant to hermie. If you found a hermie, aren't growing from feminized seeds, and this is your first grow... its a good idea to check your cab for light leaks.

I've never had a feminized or Female seed hermie on me ..............actually i find they are less prone to hermie...... bannna leaves grow with the hairs......look at all the hairs to find hermie bannan leaves.... late in bloom bannana leaves tend to have less pollen..... When they pop out during the begining of bloom or middle watch out cause th0s Bannans are packin.......
