I'm sure most of us are somewhat aware of the cannabis cultivation in the Himalayas but it's a new article so I thought I'd post it.

Also, maybe someone with a little more knowledge could answer this question..It says they were harvesting cannabis indica but isn't it mostly hardy sativas that are grow up there?

Apparently hemp is sativa , and everything we smoke (drug types) is indica ,, just broad leaf and narrow leaf ...

An indigenous farmer said that the higher up the mountain a plant is, the more Indica in expression it will be

Makes total sense…Scientists are saying Indica/Sativa are the same genotype (I think that's the word, here)

I saw the that one too. The Italian guy who lived up there was the man! Unfortunately, I read he was deported not long after the documentary came out.
