Securing ducting around mylar.

I have built a tent out of pvc and wrapped it in mylar and am currently trying to figure out how to seal around the ducting once I cut in to the mylar and feed it thorough. Any ides or suggestion appreciated.

Duct tape maybe? Pictures would help.

Cut an "x" on the Mylar just big enough for the pipe to fit thru, then cut out 2 squares of medium weight plastic(think "for sale" signs at Wally World)2 inches larger all the way around the pipe(4" wider and taller than pipe). Cut a nice perfect circle in the middle of each square...put 1 on each side of the Mylar...tape neatly in a square pattern, if the plastic is heavy gauge enough you could attach the flange to a ceiling joist to support pipe weight.
